On a rainy midmorning about two weeks ago ( yes it still a normal rain then) stopped here for of all things a double shot full cream cap!
On placing our order we were informed by the server that while they could make us our order they weren't actually baristas!
How refreshing, honesty! And the coffees were fine, and they didn't even flinch when we both asked for four sugars!
Clean tidy, smelt fresh nice atmosphere and catered for both smokers and those that don't! 7/10.

We arrived at around 1am last night. We had been out as my partner was djing a party. The security staff were incredibly unfriendly & denied my partner access. We would have had less than 3 drinks in the previous few hours. They asked him to go buy food so to do the right thing we did & they saw him eat nearby. When he finished his food & went to go in they then said the other guy denied you entry. No point arguing & we left.
Terrible experience.

Great facilities from the pub downstairs to the nightclub up top

15 degrees outside ,5 degrees inside.
What's the point of having the place wide open in winter. Maybe if it was warmer you might attract more people.

Love the renovations, super friendly and great bar staff! No attitude which is rare in Sydney. Keep it friendly and relaxed.

Wow service is outstanding here. Trivia nite gr8, shame I'm not! Leather night was fantastic, I was very moist. Jackie Daniel's is an outstanding proformer.

I enjoyed the Friday night comedy show, and then chilling upstairs afterwards having drinks with a few friends. Seems like a good place to make new friends too.

Had really uncomfortable interactions here on Mardi Gras with a security guard and a staff member. I tried to enter twice - once to use the bathroom, the second to get water as I was feeling unwell. During both experiences the security guard touched me multiple times. He would touch and grab my arms and pull me in a particular direction. There was an obvious power dynamic at play as I am a young woman who was alone and was dressed in what would’ve been considered a “revealing” outfit. We watched him for a while and he wasn’t touching any men who were trying to enter, nor anyone who was entering in a group. I went inside to talk to a staff member to tell them what had happened to me, as I wanted the security guard to be spoken to about it so that he wouldn’t touch any other women that night - considering it was Mardi Gras and there would’ve been lots of young people around Oxford St in a vulnerable position. We were told by the man we spoke to that the security guard was “just doing his job”. It’s never a “job” to touch women without their consent. I was also asked by the staff member I spoke to whether i was “listening to what the security guard had been saying” - in an accusation that i was being drunk or disorderly. It was 2pm, I was entirely sober, and had been politely asking to enter to use the bathroom and get some water. None of that could validate being manhandled. I felt completely powerless and would urge anyone entering the venue to not do so alone in case it happens again because it doesn’t seem like they were interested in pulling their security guard into line.
