Review The Sparrow's Mill Express - Sydney

Have tried a few time to have a meal here. Always a busy restaurant. We had between two of us, the Extra Spicy Boneless Chicken, Grilled Spicy Pork Belly and Chicken Fried Rice. There was so much food we could not eat it all. The food was the best we have had from a Korean restaurant. While it may seen expensive, its well worth it. Our waitress was great and help with everything. She went out of her way to make sure our meat was top shelf. We will return!

Great Korean restaurant for a late nighter on Friday and Saturday as they close at 1:30AM. Although on one Saturday night, the manager told us and everyone in the queue that there was a large group coming and that we had to wait 30 - 40 minutes for a table or order takeaway instead. We did the latter and fortunately enough just as when the food was ready, the manager kindly let our family have a table. We ordered the Salted egg yolk boneless fried chicken, Spicy beef stew and Seafood pancake and highly recommend the chicken. I have not encountered any Korean fried chicken that does this flavour so far. Servings are also well sized. Will still come again despite the small issue next time I'm back up in Sydney.

Pretty reliable restaurant that I've been back a few times over the past few years although the quality and service may have degraded a bit. They severely lacked staff so the service was quite slow. However, you can definitely satisfy your cravings here. The jjajangmyeon had almost no meat in it but the snow cheese chicken was delicious.

Great korean food and fried chicken in Haymarket. This place is very popular for its fried chicken. Food was great and service was okay. Prices are quite expensive compared to other korean fried chicken restaurant in Sydney but overall this place offers great food!

Visited today as we are staying Sydney for 2 weeks.exploring Korean restaurant that is halal, so came up with Arisun. Chicken and beef both are Halal. We ordered extra spicy Korean fried chicken and stir fry chicken noodle Both dished were good in taste. Very bz resturant so we got the table very late. But worth visiting. Do follow me ,Appreciated.

It was my first and last visit here. I've got FOOD POISONING from this place. I ate nr. 54. SPICY WAGYU BRISKET NOODLE SOUP. Waste of money and horrible food! If you like to have a good dinner with your people, DON'T EVEN TRY HERE !!! It is a pretty ordinary restaurant with high prices. Very disappointing!

Best Korean chicken in my opinion. Crispy crust with soft, moist center.. so amazingly delicious. Wait staff are also exceptional. Great vibe. This is a must try

Perfect place for good food. Customer service was the part need to be more polished. When asked the staff for products the staff had no idea if they have and side dish and sauce. Except that good vibe and good food. Recommended.

I definitely recommend coming here if you love korean fried chicken. We ordered the sweet and spicy chicken along with the spicy chicken with rice cakes. The chicken was juicy and tender and nicely seasoned. The cheese kimchi pancake was also mouth watering. Overall great food.

I liked the chicken - numerous small pieces of tender juicy chicken in a crisp batter that seemed to have some flavour of its own but mine was smothered in spring onion, wasabi and soy that worked great. $17 for half a chicken seems in line with other Korean chicken but this is in one of Sydney’s grottiest food courts and is cash only, so I would have liked it cheaper and maybe their proper restaurants would be better.

Only if you are after quantity over quality. The beef bulgoge is quite oily and the quality of beef isn’t good. The fried chicken .... except for flavour from the coating, tasteless... wont go back again.

The fried chicken is really delicious except the source is too salty. The beef is too tough to bite. However this restaurant offers a lot of the free dishes and they taste very good. Overall I would like to give it 4 stars. I will go there again but I will not order that beef .

Go to korean fried chicken restaurant in the CBD. Highly recommend the Snow Cheese Chicken. Great place to go with friends. Service is fast and I like how their dishes come in different serving sizes so you can easily order and try out different flavors for their ICG fried chicken

We ordered cabonara teokbokki, bulgogi beef bibimbap and snow cheese fried chicken. 3 of us were super full and couldn't finish everything.
We're all big fans of this restaurant's fried chicken. Really spot on! The drumsticks were crunchy and snow cheese on top added another layer of flavour to the dish.
Will come back for their chicken!

ICG is always the best fried chicken in Stratfield hands down. The chicken is fresh, crispy and flavourful. The place is revonated and it looks pretty slick and hip. (To be continued)

This is one of my favourite places for Korean fried chicken which is always crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My favourites are the spring onion chicken, garlic soy sauce chicken and sweet and spicy chicken. They do have other dishes to accompany the fried chicken such as soups and rice dishes. My go to are usually the tofu stew or kimchi stew.

My favourite place for some good KFC (aka. Korean Fried Chicken 🍗)

We ordered their sweet & spicy fried chicken and the snow cheese chicken. Both are amazing. Snow cheese was a clear favourite. The cheesy cost dusting was so well done. They melt and cream away in your mouth and look very presentable and neat on the chicken pieces. Chicken is always beautifully tender, juicy and piping hot. They've really mastered quality of frying chicken 🙌

Came on Friday 6pm and managed to get seats for 6 immediately. We ordered the carbonara tteobokki, fried chicken (boneless) in snow cheese, spring onion and spicy and sweet dressing. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. They were still hot when it came to the table and the portion was big - we were all satisfied after the meal. It got quite busy later in the night but they were cool with us hanging there for a little bit more.

This is my go-to place to just go casually with friends to just chat, eat and drink. Lots of variety of korean fried chicken, and also Korean street food like tteokbokki and pancakes. Also do cheap $10 soju once in a while. Always end up back here for fried chicken.

there was a long line at the dinner time. we waired for about 20 mins to enter and waited another 20 mins for the food.
the food is huge we two people shared two half fried chicken and finished it hard. The flavour is not bad.
but the environment is not good. a lot of flys and insects there when we were eating so disgusting
Aileen
Sweet and spicy chicken was good it can feed up to 3 ppl eventhough in the menu it said one ppl. The sauce was a lot and the chicken was crispy yet juicy inside
The bibimbap was okay. Nothing special but its a good bibimbap to eat :)
Service was good and fast as well. Came at lunch time and didn’t see many people

Customer service was poor but chicken was great taste
Night time will be very busy need to wait for set around 30min .

Like the food but not service

Firstly I think it's actually a pretty popular place. I went there at 6:00 on a Saturday night and, although I was able to get a seat, there was a long line forming outside.
SERVING sizes are really worth your money, and also tastes great. I was only expecting around 5 small pieces for a half chicken but was surprised when we received 7 bug pieces for one and 9 slightly smaller for the other.
Workers are very kind.
Only downside to this place is that food takes forever to come out but that's only because they cook the food as you order.

Waited an hour, they forgot my order. One of the dishes of Chicken where raw.

No appology, terrible place. terrible people. shouldn't have paid for the meal and just left really,

I hate the people here with every fibre of my existance, if you experience this type of service you would know why.

Always go here whenever want to eat korean friend chicken. The taste is really good and usually eat with the tofu stew or the seafood pancake. The place is also always crowded in lunch and dinner time

We had a great dinner. Fried chicken is good and tasty. The place is not packed so all of our food came out at the same time. If you love fried chicken this is a to go place.

Incredible Chicken!! Just like the name, it is incredible. You definitely must try the Snow Cheese Chicken, it was good, the tender texture keeping me longing for more(though it is a bit expensive)........... ... ... the Tab water is good and refreshing!! Must try (>,

The fried chicken was relatively nice.
My bf and I ordered half serve of the sweet chilly fried chicken, enjoyed it.
The portion was big, and the chicken was relatively juicy and fresh.

Not so incredible as it written. Ordered fried chicken sweet & spicy, the sauce wasnt enjoyable. Another is snow cheese chicken, that was okay.
The staff is abit rude, forcing people to leave though no people queueing. Not good place if you plan to eat longer, chitchat, and enjoying food. Good for quick dining, like fastfood.

Ordered: seafood pancake, tofu soup, garlic and soy chicken

Goods
- Large quantities meals
- foods had good flavour
- Variety of food on the menu
- Staff attentive and friendly
-

Bads
- is cramped when busy
- expect delays when busy
- chicken needed more sauce and some pieces were dry

Popular place to eat, it was busy with a line. Ordered was taken wrong but staff were willing to rectify the order. Id be happy to eat here again, total meal was $50 + some takeaway.
