Review Eternity Cafe - Sydney

Erich Zirnhelt
One of our group found this via Tiktok, and there were others there you could tell had the same inspiration 😉 The menu is smaller than it was before, but still a lot of choices with great flexibility for those with good restrictions. The corn fritters (with mushrooms) were tasty and filling, yet I scraped my plate clean.

Love the coffee, food and the service in here. Iconic cafe with the waterfall located at town hall square near the station.

Very cute place but nothing too special. Coffe wasn't tasty (tasted burned). Unfortunately no toilets either, you have to go to the town hall station public toilet. Food is excellent and huge portions tough! Service was also extremely good and friendly.

Staff is very nice and food is top notch. Absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend this place.

Amazing food, even better view. Recommended to anyone in Town Hall area even if it's just for a coffee.

Very great brunch, cool atmosphere and food was delicious ! Staff is very friendly

The vibe of the place was a bit average, left the table feeling like my dish had too much food on it. I would suggest that the corn fritters could be a bit smaller with perhaps more of something to compliment the fritters. Also a little sad that they no longer service their beautiful floral dishes (as the chef no longer works there). Over all the place was ok.

Great Cafe in the heart of the city. You definitely get good value for your money. Great atmosphere.

Unexpectedly good food/cafe food vibes in the CBD.

The waterfall is extremely loud, as everyone has noted here. I didn’t think I’d care but it turns out I did. Pretty hard to hear the other person if you’re not loud people.

The food quality was good. I had scrambled eggs on GF bread with a side of bacon. They ask how you like your eggs and bacon cooked, which not a lot of places do, which was great.

My friend had the pancakes and gave them a 7/10. He said they were good, but were steaming hot when they came out so it made it hard for him to enjoy them. He also felt really uncomfortably full when he finished, that there was just too much.

The most beautiful food & lovely service this morning for breakfast. I’d highly recommend Eternity Cafe & I cant wait to visit again 💛

Baited by Instagram... really pretty food but genuinely just trail mix kind of granola with a bit of fruit and a pudding in the middle... was supposed to come with almond milk but I had to ask for it and the waiter seemed shocked?! Was really difficult to get through the dish given what it was. The setting was quite nice inside given the location.

Such a relaxing, mesmerising, breathtaking, eye catching venue with friendly staff @eternitycafesydney 😁😍❤️
Tried the edible garden(panna cotta, with fresh fruit, chocolate rock pieces and chocolate edible soil)- they normally decorate the dish with fresh flowers but unfortunately due to Covid its not been done. I still insisted in trying it (since its what I came for 😅). The panna cotta is the perfect sweetness with fresh fruit, the chocolate soil and chocolate rock pieces goes well together. I will come back again, even though I was overcharged and its pricey for dessert. It was worth it and I considered it being a tip for the staff with the overcharge.

The hot cake was complete dryness and my open omelette was severely overcooked with almost no seasonings, alongside with the hardest sourdough I have ever had. The waterfall was terribly loud. Me and my friend were not able to hear each other at all. Will not visit this place again and absolutely do not recommend.

I ordered the hot cake thing which looks like their signature dish. Well, the food looked gimmicky and tasted not fresh and cheap. I didn’t even finish 1/4 of it. Don’t understand why the rating is this high.

Connecting through Town Hall train station in the heart of Sydney CBD, Eternity Cafe is an oasis amongst the concrete jungle. The cascading water feature teleports you to somewhere tropical and picks you up from the daily grind. . The food looked out of this world to say the least. The red velvet hotcake was decorated with neatly piped cream and an entire Magnum ice cream. It was almost a shame to break apart this impressive presentation.

Brunch with a waterfront view right in the heart of the CBD, it really doesn't get much better than Eternity Cafe. Playful and colourful dishes that are gorgeous to look at and delicious to eat. I really enjoyed the novelty and creativity behind each dish, in particular the desserts. I did note that some ingredients kept popping up which made the flavours a bit repetitive in some dishes but overall a very pleasant dining experience.

If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!

This cafe has amazing food with incredible presentation. It is conveniently located in Town Hall, making it the perfect place to refuel before your commute. This cafe will also allow you to relax with the sounds of their waterfall.

Definitely one of the most awesome cafes I have been too. Massive seating area with a beautiful water feature that is behind the cafe, bringing serenity to the room. Extensive menu with the most unique dishes to choose from. Highly recommend the edible garden and panna cotta, absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and very helpful. This place is a must !!

The food was great! This red velvet pancake was shared with two people, so the portion was great for brunch. However, because of the open roof, a leaf fell in my drink. But the staff was kind enough to replace it for us!

Was so excited to finally eat here after seeing so many beautiful photos and rave reviews on Instagram! Caught up with an old friend from highschool, we ordered the corn fritters and pancakes.
The waterfall is quite loud, and makes it difficult to converse especially if there are quite a few people around you. Otherwise, the venue was beautiful and unique!
Pancakes were very filling - however, they seemed to crumble when we tried to cut it with a knife and fork, which made eating slightly difficult. They were very rich and the dough batter was overpowering - not sure if slightly undercooked.
Corn fritters were lovely - the side salad was fresh, however not sure if sour cream is the best pairing to go with this dish as it was also very heavy. A light tomato relish would have been perfect!

I think the highlight of Eternity Cafe is definitely their insta-famous pannacotta - will be back to give that a try.

Really enjoyed my time here. I showed a picture to the waitress and she informed me that it was the in the next release of menu but she was able to ask the chef to help prepare the dish for me. I went with a group and everyone was surprised with how big portion sizes were

This cafe has managed to create a unique environment ! they have water falling from the front wall that has such a zen sound while you’re having your morning coffee or eating as you’re waiting for your next train .

In case that wasn’t enough, the dishes served there are UNBELIEVABLE ! The platting is absolutely mind blowing and the flavour is up to the expectations when you see plates this pretty.
Besides, prices are more than reasonable.

This place became an instant favourite in the CBD.

Chia pudding and LoLo are featured here on the pictures:

LoLo: Avo , fresh pesto, sourdough, balsamic pearls , poached eggs plus a drizzle of buffalo wings sauce. MIND BLOWING !
Chia pudding:
Mango coconut, almond milk, macadamia crumble, berries and seasonal fruit. TOO PRETTY!

Hidden little cafe in Town Hall Square. Great atmosphere lunching to the backdrop of a huge waterfall and huge kudos to the chef, each and every dish was a complete stunner in presentation and almost hit all the taste goals too! Particularly loved their pesto avocado poached egg on toast with a mixture of berry and fruit salsa and cheese - great mix 9f flavors. Loved the ingenuity of their pot plant pannacotta alsp! Crab eggs benedict was a tiny bit too fishy for me and the pancake while beautiful was a bit too cakey and sweet amongst all the other toppings. All in all, simply fabulous!

I've often walked past Eternity Cafe and have noticed it has been renovated with new owners. Eternity cafe is located just nearby Town Hall Station in Town Hall Square. I am invited with a group of foodies to check out their new menu. The menu is quite extensive and I am eager to try their food. You may be slightly distracted by the water feature towards the back. The sound from the water is quite soothing and you may almost forget you are in the middle of the busy city. I look through the the menu and patiently wait for the food to arrive.

Went here recebtly because of their new revamp menu! Tried the hotcake with all the toppings which is beryy instagram worthy but for me it doesnt really fit with my palate,, the hotcake was a bit dry and bland.

Also ordered the Edible garden whichI think is better in term of taste and alsonlooks very pretty!

I want to Thank the Cafe personally cause when I cane, it was almost their kitchen close time but they still manage to make another hotcakes for our table! Kudos to the team!

If u are looking for a cozy and chill place to hang out, this is the place plus they have a very cool water fountain!

Located underneath town hall with exposed roofing to the outside of town hall. This space has a beautiful indoor/outdoor feel to it, and I loved the running waterfall backdrop. Very tranquil spot to have breakfast or lunch. They serve a qaulity smooth blend of Campos coffee, the baristas here sure know what they’re doing! I also loved their unusual smoothies, I tried the qaunabana (soursop) which is a native fruit with sweet and sour notes. Apparently it can help fight off cancer cells, so I wasn’t complaining 😂

I had two hours to wait for my intercity train and it was lunch time. Expecting to have to pick up a sandwich but then I saw this place. Excellent food and comfortable seating. The prices were quite reasonable too. Recommended.

Located in Town Hall station, this cafe is definitely not your ordinary cafe. They serve Campos coffee and open for breakfast and lunch. Seating area is very spacious and I love the waterfall at the back of the cafe. It adds nice and calming ‘back to nature’ feelings.
During this particular visit I tried their desserts (edible garden, pancakes and panna cotta). All these desserts looked sophisticated and stunning! They tasted wonderful and really impressed me, big time. Next level desserts!
I’m definitely interested to go back and try their savoury dishes.

Under new management

Venue:
Town hall square.
Love the waterfall decor inside the cafe.

Service:
Good, but with smile, it will be even better 😁
Barista is friendly, waitress that served me seems a little rush finishing her shift.

Food & Drink:
Came just after lunch, because I saw the Campos coffee sign in front.
Piccolo always good from Campos coffee beans, And they do have a promotions / discount on savory food.
