I have been to La Mia twice and both times I have been disappointed. On the first occasion one of my orders was not taken down and so I had to wait for it to be cooked (20 mins). On the second occasion I ordered a melt in which the pineapple that came out was clearly well out of date (both smelling and tasting so) - a meal which I sent back to the kitchen. We also ordered banana bread which wasn't fresh either. This is the problem with La Mia's extensive menu; it is impossible to ensure everything is fresh. The pricing isn't budget either for the simple meals produced with a morning tea for four likely to cost $50. Something that is satisfactory however is the prompt service. Overall, based on my experience I would not recommend La Mia. If you are in Cronulla there are plenty of other far better restaurants to choose from anyway so I suggest looking around.

My wife and I just finished breakfast here and it was a christmas present voucher. I was skeptical because of all the reviews BUT this cafe exceeded my expectations heaps. I had eggs benedict with mushrooms spinach and bacon with the hollandaise sauce- fantastic. The coffee was very good ( i would ask for very hot coffee next time like I do elsewhere) unfortunately i ordered the wrong meal for my wife (my bad) but what she got was really tasty and fresh. So i am going back again some time. Well done La Mia.

fantastic food and staff. they are very friendly, the young boss is very happy and sunny, they make me feel happy and young. coffee is perfect! lovely views and great taste.

Sat down, waitress asked me if I wanted a menu, I said no, I know what I want. She smiled and brought me one anyway as she did not understand what I was saying. I asked for a bacon and egg roll and a decaf flat white. Roll came out quite quickly but it was a very sad looking roll. Later she came out to explain they had no coffee, at least I think that's what she said. Wouldn't go back there in a hurry

This place is an absolute joke. They bring all the wrong orders to customers because the waitress can't be bothered to use a pad and pen to write down your order. It took 30 minutes for our food to come out and it was disgusting. I could have done better at home. Not worth the money. They don't bring the drinks out till you get your food so had to resort to drinking water from my own drink bottle. The lettuce was brown, hardly and meat on the wrap and the chips were burnt! Change your bloody oil in your fryer, be more organised and have fresher produce then you may not have such terrible reviews. Disgusting.

DISGUSTINGLY DISAPPOINTED!!!. This place has got to be the WORST cafe in Cronulla. We had to wait about 15-20mins for someone to take our order because the guy that seemed to be the owner and the wait staff were all running around like a bunch of headless chooks. We then had to wait at least half an hour for food that was not worth our money. I ordered eggs benedict with salmon and my partner ordered a chicken burger. The hollandaise sauce for my eggs benedict should not have been served up. The egg yolk had clearly curdled when making it and the butter had not combined with the egg so I was served with an oily mess. My partner was not impressed with his chicken burger either as it looked like a botched home made burger and tasted very bland. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

La mia cafe cronulla is not a great place to eat,the restraunt is dirty the staff are rude and the food is horrible.i would not reccommend this cafe to anyone visiting cronulla!

I like it. That sounds a bit harsh! I've been a regular for about 6 months now - big fan of the fresh juices and the breakfast burritos. Mum likes the coffee and its a great place to go with kids - there are heaps of outdoor tables right next to the playground so we can relax while they run around. It's got a relaxed atmosphere and I've always found the staff friendly.

Don't bother. Absolutely disgraceful, I will never go there again. I had a Cudos voucher to get 2 entrees, 2 mains and a drink for $39 (to the value of $85). The inside looks dirty, the waiting staff are slow and rude. It looked like they had slapped dog food on a plate - and tasted like dog food too. Absolutely horrible food and service.
