All you can eat japanese/korean including sashimi was great! Reasonably priced and tasty. Has a nice variety of japanese drinks, but unfortunately no whiskey 😔

The $40 All you can eat is wonderful! Definitely tasty. No reason to reject or complain.

Very disappoint! Lots of choice, but they all taste below average. Never been to a Japanese restaurant like this. Food are not fresh. Even they try to put lots of sauce to cover it. Services are really slow. They put tiny slice of eel on the top of the roll and the roll already fell apart when they gave us.

Taste is not bad. Selection is limited. Price is a bit expensive. Service is normal.

The food is below average. Tables are so sticky that I almost can't pick up the glass. And the cutlery is dirty as well. The dishes come very slow because there aren't enough waitress for all the customers. Overall, definitely don't recommend. Don't spend $39 on the bad environment and mediocre service & food.

The food was fine, nothing special but by no means bad. The kitchen on the other hand must be extremely disorganized, as it took 30 minutes to get a plate of curry out, then another 15-20 for the bibimbap my partner ordered to come out, all while the restaurant emptied (no more orders coming in, everything should have been getting finished up). At a seated restaurant, why would you even send the first dish if the other part of the order was 15-20m away from being done?

Came here for lunch with my boyfriend on a Thursday lunchtime. Had a very poor experience. We arrived and were seated within a few mins which was a plus, one of the very few positives of our overall experience. <br/><br/>It took a long time for someone to come over and take our orders, and even trying to get the waiter's attention was a huge effort. When the waitress finally came over, she took down our orders and that's when the waiting game began. We must have waited almost 30 mins for our food (chashu ramen and vegetable yakisoba) to arrive. The food, when it came, wasn't bad, portions were fairly decent. However as we were eating, we noticed tables around us who'd ordered much after us were getting their meals much quicker than we'd waited. <br/>Not to mention the very crammed space in the restaurant, with tables so close to each other.<br/><br/>To top it all off, I noticed I had chicken pieces in my vegetable yakisoba that I ordered. When it came time to paying the bill, we were initially charged for the chicken yakisoba, instead of the veggie yakisoba that I'd ordered, and I had to explain to the cashier that I'd ordered a vegetable yakisoba which was $2 less. Thankfully, this was changed without any fuss.<br/><br/>All in all, it was a pretty negative experience, particularly as we were pressed for time during our work lunch break and we had to rush our food. I won't be going back in a hurry, unless they maybe hire more staff, or speed up their service.

Just an ordinary Japanese-Korean place. Prices ranges from $14.50 to $20. Came during lunchtime, was not too packed. The food wasn't that authentic, just good enough for a pass. Ambient was alright. It's the kind of restaurant which I wouldn't mind coming back and at the same time wouldn't thought of returning.

So an "all you can eat Japanese food place"...okay I'm sold! <br/><br/>It's $40..."sure I'm worried"...what are you possibly giving me for $40 and not going under?? But hey you only live once and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger so...here we go...( the following is to subject review pending whether we die from food poisoning tomorrow :) )<br/><br/>Gonna say I'd probably stay clear of the sashimi...if you into salmon sashimi go ahead but tuna and kingfish "go somewhere else"<br/><br/>The sushi and rolls are quite decent, I mean I'd say your getting sushi train quality here so look if you can eat 10 plus plates at sushi train...don't waste your money there, come here! <br/><br/>Look at those four pieces of scallop sushi aren't they adorable...oh man....and please do try the "Ginger Bear" I kid you not! <br/><br/>You'll get you $40 worth here but not more...would I take my less judgemental/demanding friends here? Hell yeah I would...even pencilled it into the calendar. <br/><br/>So yes come get your sushi baby! Oh and don't bother about the deluxe whatever ship sushi/sashimi thing..just stay with the sushi! All sushi all night.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

The good thing is perfect location and easy to find it,also the price is cheap within all CBD restaurant especially for the buffet. However, what you paid for is always equal to the value and benefit that you can get. The size of the restaurant is either not too big nor too small, how can the staffs couldn't handle well enough for the service. They even can't differ between sashimi and sushi. The kitchen and food prepared was slow and mess. I have been waiting for over an hour for sashimi deluxe that I ordered in the first round. Under my anger, the sashimi is not that fresh enough.I think I won't go again never ever.

The food was great. I've tried the vegetable bibimbap and it turned out to be marvellous. I had a good day in the restaurant. Staff were friendly too. I will definitely recommend to my friends.<br/>

come here for many many time because I really love the cold noodles here. The green cha soba is very helthy and both the homemade sauce and creamy sauce are very good. it's so yummy.

Went for dinner here on a Monday night with a couple of friends and we were the only eat in diners! The food wasn't too bad, although we didn't have the all you can eat option (because there was no ice cream included in that option!). The tofu and avocado salad was very average, but the pork buns were very tasty. The bento boxes were a generous portion. Received free refills on the tea, which was nice.

Good food, decent prices, convenient for lunch/dinner if you work near Wynyard. Great that they offer brown rice, although when I got it it was mixed through white rice (definitely longer and thinner white grains)... I would've been happy to just have a smaller serving of brown rice since it is more filling than white rice.

It’s time to rejoice fellow Sydney siders for there is a new all you can eat sushi and sashimi restaurant in town. Shokuji does an all you can eat sushi and sashimi for incredible value at $39.80. Yep, you heard me right. And when compared to Kansai, which offers $32 without sashimi and $42 with it, Shokuji offers way better value.

Tried the chicken katsu donburi here and found it ok, not bad but not great. Way too much Rice compared to chicken imo. Better and cheaper options imo

Eat here regularly and the food is consistently good and reasonably priced. The tiger sushi rolls are a favourite, and the teryaki salmon is always good.

Been there at lunch time. Prawn donburi and seafood udon was very tasty. Ell donburi was a bit dry, but taste ok. Over all, it is a nice place for a quick lunch.

I like the sushi here verrry much. The price is quite valuable, the all you can eat with sashimi cost me $39.8. The shop is not in a busy walking st at night, but it did surprise me.
