Review Papparich - Sydney

Came here to try the limited edition Nasi lemak burger which completely exceeded my expectations. It came with fried chicken, lettuce, cucumber, spicy sambal sauce and even anchovies and peanuts. I really enjoyed the spice and the saltiness from the fried fish. Although I still prefer the traditional Nasi lemak rice dish, this is an interesting twist. Burger comes with addictive fried chicken skin as well. Good service, although it’s a food court, it’s efficient. Note: I dined as a guest of the venue. All options expressed are my own.

I ordered the roti cannai here, and saw several dishes come out including the char keys teow. Although the roti took a good 10 mins or more to come out, it was a very good experience and tasty dish, especially for under $10. The noodles and laksas seemed quite fast. Although it doesn’t have the large menu like the ordinary restaurants, it’s worth trying.

Lovely Malay & SE Asian cuisine ! In Pitt street Westfield so there are seats and services aplenty.

A reduced menu as the name suggests. But the quality appears to be similar compared to other Papparich outlets. Took a little longer to get our order which was ok, but the quality wasn’t great. Was somewhat over cooked.

In the past I've enjoyed laksa here, but the last few times I've tasted food, it has been a little disappointing. Value for $ - not that great. Overall, my experience with PappaRich in the recent past has not been good. The PappaRich restaurants in Malaysia are much better. The one I tried in Melbourne was pretty good too. But for some reason this and Mac Centre have not been. Sloppy preparation.

FOOD POISONING!! Myself & three colleagues went here for lunch on 7/5/2019, three of us got the chicken curry with roti or dry noodles and one got food elsewhere. The three of us who ordered the chicken curry received it luke warm which was concerning, although tasty - we all got food poisoning last night. I don’t recommend this place, it seems as though their health and safety practises & standards are below the minimum expectation. It’s common sense to know that chicken should be heated all the way through. We live and learn.

Quite good Malaysian food in Westfield Sydney. The Nasi Lemak with Vegetarian curry mutton while easily discernible from real meat, nonetheless was quite tasty, and comes out very quickly. Can be quite hard to get a seat at lunch time.

Pathetic. Ordered chicken laksa and it came with literally two small pieces of chicken. Went back and they said the chicken portion is capped at 50grams. Don’t go. Also got their “chicken curry puff” - there is no chicken. Just potato and a hard boiled egg yolk. $3.50 for one. I’m counting the days until they close down.

Got a classic Hainan Chicken Rice from here. They took nearly 15 minutes to make this dish even though there were no other customers. The result was bad - small portion of old looking chicken on a bed of soggy bean sprouts.

Sure they are just opened this express shop.
You can have $7.90 main dish, and they are 6 items to choose from.
Today I get items from normal ala carte, chicken laksa combo $15.90, and I choose ice white coffee for my drink.
Well, laksa is slightly different version than laksa that I knew before, for this version they do have fried eggplant, tofu and something like tofu skin fried for extra crunchy texture.
Chicken thigh shredded instead of chicken breast.
Do I like it, well I guess just ok for me, and it’s hey do absolutely nothing wrong to come out with slightly different laksa version.

The store isn’t even ready to sell food at 11am even though the dish that we want is already ready to be bagged and also on their website the opening time says 11am. The staffs are so rude. Not even bother to speak English and yet they start commenting to each other in their own dialect. No one was bother to give any service at all, so we left. Absolutely disappointed with their attitude and standard.

Extremely rude and entitled staff. We asked if we could get a side and they turned their backs on us and started speaking in another language- completely ignoring us. At least tell us yes or no... 0/5 customer service.

Conveniently located inside Westfield Sydney Central Plaza, this place is a great option to enjoy similar quality of Papparich dishes express style.
Service was pretty quick. Their Salt & Pepper Chicken with Fragrant Rice was pretty good.
Might be back to try their other dishes.
