Review Al Carbon - Sydney

Absolutely delicious food, great vibe and beautiful staff/service. We had the private table at the back and it was great. The tacos were all so flavourful and delicious, highly recommend the chicken taco's, the lamb and the corn. some of the dishes were overly salty but still really great. Will definitely return soon!

Went for bottomless brunch. The margaritas were really awesome and nonstop. The tacos were fairly underwhelming and took ages to come out.

- Nice ambiance - ceviche was more like sashimi, which is not a problem, but too salty - wouldn’t recommend - amazing beef taco - just with the tortilla was slightly bigger, hard to hold it - great steak. The spring onion it came with wasn’t really edible - they didn’t have deserts today 😞

Our dinner was delicious; the fish taco, mini fondue, charred broccolini, and steak main were the stand outs. Service was good. Restaurant was a bit cold inside though (mid winter).

Wow! My partner and I came to try out the AYCE tacos and margaritas and it was definitely worth it! The tacos are the perfect size for stuffing your face and the margaritas were probably the best I've ever had! And the glass is never empty :) The staff have the pacing of the food down as well. I liked that even though we ordered 10+ tacos at once, they were brought out in plates of 2-4 so that they weren't sitting on the table getting soggy while you ate. Ambience was a chill 10/10 with great tunes playing in the background. 100% will return!

Great fun place on Bondi Road. Yellow fish ceviche perfect. Baja fish taco pork taco, broccolini excellent. Strong margaritas. Slick service. Bottom line $150 for two with drinks.

Worst Mexican in Sydney. Terrible. We had the bottomless brunch and there was a huge table of us. Worst service of any restaurant in Sydney. As soon as three of us arrived the waitress spoke to us like we were kids and told us what time we had to leave, as if we were on a tight schedule. They started serving us food and drinks before most of our other guests had even arrived. At the end we were pretty much told to down our drinks and leave. The whole thing was rushed. The Margaritas were good but nothing special and there is only one type of Margarita for the bottomless, it’s ridiculous for the amount of money you pay. There was plenty of food but all you get is tacos, nothing else. For $93 each there should be more variety of food and a choice of two or three different Margaritas. The tacos also were dry and had absolutely no flavour. Staff were rude. Waitress looked like she didn’t even want to be there, she was miserable. No way is it worth $93 each.

Beautiful place with mouth watering food. We ordered different dishes to share and nothing disappointed. The grilled octopus, all the tacos and lamb shoulder bbq were some of the favourites amongst our group. Also best margaritas in town! I cannot recall the name of our lovely waitress, but hats off for taking care of us 🙌🏼
