One of our regular winter spots. Seems to be under new management, but the restaurant remains the same. Really liking that the meat for your hot pot is now in a freezer rather than on the train
Love the concept, friendly staff, look forward to going back again this weekend
Great hotpot place located in central richmond. The idea of this self serve hotpot have been popular lately. You get a soup base each and you pick your soupvase and ingredients. All the ingredients were very fresh and staff were very friendly as well.
Went with a group of friends. Good selection and food. Had a seat where the steam from the other pots would reach me. Made me a bit loopy breathing in that Tom yum oxygen. It made for a good night. 10/10
Definitely well worth the money with great choices of variety and seafood options available! The food itself is great and the Tom yum soup is my go to ✅✅
The price is abit on the higher side but decent for an all you can eat. Not sure if I ate my moneys worth though 😓. Not time rushed either like some other places!!
The train is a great concept and there is a nice ambience to the place.
Service was good. Good variety of food circulating on the rotary belt. Overall food items were fresh. Tom Yum is definitely the go-to soup base, it was not too spicy for those who want to try something different than tomato soup base. A great dessert bar options, which were included in the buffet price.
After a short hiatus, FOF Rotary Hotpot is back and it's better than ever. There have been a small number of cosmetic changes including 3 extra soup flavours to choose from (chicken mushroom, Szechuan pepper and shabu shabu joining the pre-existing tom yum and miso soups) and the meats are now in a freezer, ready for you to pick up rather than having to order them separately.
My usual is the tom yum soup and tonight's version did not disappoint. The range of sauces, dips and condiments was mind blowing. I love mixing it up - minced garlic, satay sauce and sesame paste. The possible combinations were overwhelming.
The hot food consisted of fried noodles, spring rolls, takoyaki and potato croquets. All were serviceable. There was also seafood and the already mentioned thin slices of various meats. Plus ice cream if you still have space after the feast.
This is a really lovely place for dinner on those cold wintry nights.
Great and cheap all you can eat hot pot train. Friendly service and fun dining experience.
They have a large sauce selection (sesame paste with sesame oil and spring onions is one of the best combos), a self service freezer chest of beef, lamb, chicken and ox tongue. There is also seafood bay with shrimp, mussel, squid and fish. I highly recommend the tom yum soup base with extra tom yum for a yummy hot pot. To top it off, unlimited takoyaki, croquettes, stir fried noodles, ice cream and coconut desserts.
We're always leaving here full, maybe a little be too full and happy!
Been here a couple of times. Good to satisfy your craving once in a while. The food comes around on a conveyor belt and goes around to everyone like a ‘train’. Very fun and creative! Great for eating with family and friends. There are plenty seafood options as well as sauces which you can mix to your liking. To top it all off come free ice-cream! (Vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavoured)
I love this hot pot place. Cute sushi train style of hot pot ingredients. I love how they have individual pots and their tom yum soup is flavorful and nice. The selection for the cooked food wasn't much though.
Great all you can eat hot pot. You can choose between a bench seat with your own individual pot or a booth with a shared pot. They have a selection of broths to choose from and different sauces as well. You just choose what you want, including seafood, and keep on eating until you're full and it also includes dessert too. Great place place to eat if you're unsure what you're in the mood for.
I have been coming here for years and it has always been good. Fresh seafood, frozen beef, chicken, lamb, pork and beef tongue are readily available. Appetizers and dessert options have improved since last year. Overall a very positive experience.
First time here at this all you can eat hotpot place. Individual pot and dishes rotating in front of you which I thought was brilliant. You pick from 1 of 5 soup base, then eat as much as you want. Because it’s self serve it’s hard to have any wastage. They even have dessert. The only thing is they don’t have alcohol, but it’s only a $2 cockage per head so good value.
Buffet, hot pot and sushi train, all fantastic dining experiences on their own, but combined is on another level. 5 broths to chose from, freezer full of thinly cut meats(beef, lamb and pork) various seafood and sushi train with a variety of goodies to cook in your hot pot. There's also some fried hot food which was not bad, but the hotpot is the reason why you're here, there's also a multitude of condiments to fine tune your meal. Service was friendly, definetly worth a visit.
