I went to Cam's on a Friday night, the place was busy but still relaxed and easy to hear. The setting is incredible and staff where very friendly. The highlight for me was the Fettuccini Pasta.

We were invited to an event here on the weekend and loved the space. It takes a beautiful historic venue and splits it into a bar and a separate gallery. We enjoyed dinner and wine whilst viewing the art in between courses. I definitely recommend visiting for a slice of history and a unique experience of dining alongside some free entertainment in the form of an art exhibit

Three of us had a great breakfast here. We had sardines on toast which were absolutely fresh, flavoursome and delicious, a vegan version of braised greens with avo instead of ricotta which was huge and eggs with mushrooms on gf toast which was also really good. The staff were super helpful and attentive and really happy to customise meals and suggest alternatives for my vegan and coeliac friends. The price was $65 for 3 of us including coffees and a shared cake. Definitely going back there!

This is a great spot for lunch solo or with friends. Staff are so genuinely helpful and friendly and the food is fantastic. Here you pay for what you get- quality. A real gem amongst the other venues in the Convent complex- with added luxury of the adjoining galleries. New winter menu.. beautiful soups and a pasta- and sandwiches are sandwiches you don’t make at home- so worth the price, with beautiful bread. Even their butter tastes good! Great teas for those of us who are abstaining from coffee- proper brewed cuppa

Wow, I’d never been here before and I came here yesterday for the first time and ordered a hit chocolate as it was a freezing cold day. Can I just say it was the best hot chocolate I’ve had in a very long time. Will definitely come back and order some food.
Do yourselves a favour and try the hot chocolate, you won’t regret it.

There is a real sense of community at Cam's cafe. Something that you can rarely find in a commercial space. Everyone knows everyone at the Convent and if you ask anyone that comes to the Convent everyday, 99 out of 100 will tell you that Cam's is the place to be. Went there with my boyfriend tonight and I was (even more) blown away by their kindness and genuine friendship. The food was spectacular and the service warm and friendly. The evenings at Cam's remind me of the ones I used to spend at restaurants along the streets of Bologna, Italy. The warm light of the main building made our outdoor experience even more pleasant and unforgettable. Thanks Cam for this amazing place 🙏🏼

A cute cafe, hidden behind the more prominent Convent Bakery. The menu is VERY limited, but tasty. It's on the pricey side - their salads are around the $14 mark - and I found the salad serving didn't fill me up. Their baguettes were mostly vegetarian (perhaps the whole menu is?) and looked good. There's a limited range of cafes in the convent, so this one's no better nor worse than others.

A nice table for 2 in the dappled Autumn sun on the verandah overlooking the inner tranquil courtyard of the convent. A friendly chat to a nearby table. We enjoyed very nice coffee, the housemade baked beans, and the roasted tomatoes with hummus on toast - all very tasty and enjoyable. Hit the spot . Mega busy sunday morning as one could imagine. Impressive for the small limited 'kitchen' area - and the cafe team were great, always a smile, very helpful and not a long wait. A small art gallery space within, and yes very close to some other eateries at the convent, and a very short walk to the Children's Farm.

I love this place. The coffee is strong and always consistent. The staff are laid back and always friendly. I have come to love the daily soups and salads which always change and don't cost a fortune. I am also obsessed with their pastries. Obsessed. The ambience of the place is also amazing. I always come away feeling deeply satisfied. Love this place.

Cams Cafe is one of my all time favourite spots. The staff are always incredible accommodating and polite, the atmosphere is brilliant and the setting DREAMY. Cams Cafe caters to your every desire, whether it be a locally roasted morning coffee, a wholesome vegetarian lunch or perhaps an afternoon Aperol spritz, as you sit and look out over the idyllic Abbotsford Convent. LOVE this place!

Nice, quite spot cloistered away (get it) from the other restaurants. Menu is a little fancy and limited but very tasty.

I love this hidden gem in the middle of the convent. This restaurant has a great feel and outdoor area. Menu is limited, but we always find something we like. Staff were friendly and attentive. (and not rude as some people mentioned)

Great unsuspecting location with relaxed wine bar vibe. Highly recommend trying all the pastas, these dishes were amazing and fairly priced. Although, $12 for a cucumber salad of 3 baby cucumbers or a $12 mixed leaf salad of 4 cos leaves & some dill was disappointing despite tasting good.

Lovely seasonal food, tight but adequate wine list, vibrant staff (knowledge on the wines and dishes wasn’t too good but made up with it in friendly enthusiasm and spunk) cozy and very comfortable vibe! Will be returning. Thanks for a great evening team Cams Kiosk.

The hidden gem of Abbotsford's convent and a secret of the locals. A simple menu with the best quality ingredients.
