3.5. Tasty pastas. We shared the rigatoni matriciana and fettucine carbonara. Although the carbonara had less sauce that expected, the flavours were great and I probably prefer this carbonara much more than the usual ones with lots of creamy sauce. The matriciana was also tasty although the spice levels were a tad higher than my comfort level. Pastas were both cooked al dente. Good sauces. Garlic foccace had sadly cooled down by the time we ate it (about 10-15min post being taken out of oven). We would've liked more garlic flavours but otherwise it was a great meal.
Everything is always delicious. Been here a few times and NEVER disappointed. Couldn’t recommend this place more for good food, good vibes and amazing service too.

Nice vibe and friendly service from who I assume was owner, the waitress was a lot less amicable. Had a nice gnocchi. Decor is nice

Food - bruschetta, antipasto platter, al proscutio pizza and Angelo pizza. Angelo pizza was very good, I would recommend !
celebrated a friend’s birthday here over the weekend and enjoyed some yummy Italian food! the staff were really lovely and quick service!
we ordered a few pizza and pastas to share, i had to order separate gluten free for me however. I really enjoyed what i ate, i hade the gluten free al prosciutto pizza and gluten free penne carbonara! i loved the pizza as the base was crunchy and not too oily, the pasta was delicious as well with the yummy sauce. My friends all enjoyed the pizzas and thought they were also delicious.
Highly recommend this place! The food was beautiful, we ordered a variety of food from entrees to dessert and everything was tasty and nicely presented and so was the decor. The staff were very friendly and welcoming-will definitely be back!
Got some takeout from here, disappointed because pizza was cold but that’s usually drivers fault. The Zucca Pizza (pumpkin mozzarella feta basil etc) was still super delicious and me and my friend demolished the whole thing. Holy crap that gnocchi (Panna e avocado) Pillowy cushions of heaven. Everything about that pasta was absolutely perfect. Overall some really delicious Italian food.
Fairly empty on a Sunday night. Food was delicious although my partner thought his pasta was alittle bland. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the pizza melted in your mouth. I was alittle concerned about our waiter as he seemed disinterested but responsive at the same time? So i wasnt sure if I was going to piss him off or him be understanding..
Fantastic place to have pizza. Really busy on a Saturday night but we got a table very quickly. The staff were friendly and it’s good to smell the wood fired oven. Nice range of drinks and a couple of beers on tap. Really excellent pizzas; didn’t seem oily at all. Perfectly baked crust, thin and crunchy and as you can see, generous with the buffalo mozzarella. Salad was ok but don’t bother with it. Wish I had tried this place earlier.
Bontempo is definitely worth a try, great set up that caters for large groups as well as individual diners. Staff were attentive and my gnocchi was soft and delicious - perfect. For a Sunday night it was busy yet service was great, good prices too. Thank you
My partner liked his pasta. I didn’t get a photo but my pizza had two cheeses and was very good. Lovely base too as gf w lots of options - even have gf pasta at extra cost. Big room too - great for families or big groups.
Nothing spectacular but decent local Italian spot with a good selection of pizza and pasta.
I really like the ambience of the place. It gives off a chic modern vibe. The service was great as well. The pizzas on the hand were good, but weren't the best. However factoring the reasonable price, I'd say it's pretty good value. 5/5
My new favourite pizza place in Melbourne! The pizza was amazing, please upgrade to the buffalo mozzarella for $3, very worth it. The dough had that beautiful spotting, so you know it’s a wood fired oven cooked beautifully. We were close to ordering more food. The special, spaghetti meatballs was very flavourful, pork with sage, and the sauce was excellent too, couldn’t get enough. Ended the perfect night with a white chocolate calzone. Parking a plenty out front, food don’t take long to come out, staff are friendly and funny.
Can you find a more beautiful looking pizza? Absolutely delicious. Their carbonara was nice but certainly not a traditional recipe. Very garlicky and no pepper which is the origin of the name of the dish (carbon refers to the specs of pepper) NEVER EVER USE GARLIC. and they had poor quality trash supermarket bacon instead of pancetta. A lot of room for improvement here. But I will give them another go in a few weeks possibly.
SERIOUSLY AMAZING !! The best Italian food I’ve had in a while, I ordered the gnocchi and prosciutto pizza. The gnocchi was so so soft and the pizza was cooked to perfection, the dough was perfect. Will definitely be returning soon!
