We ordered the Fresca and loved it; the base was perfectly thin but still chewy and the toppings were awesome. We thought everything was quite well priced and the options available were a little bit out of the ordinary. Would come back :)
Very long wait time for the pizzas (people before and after us were getting refunds) but at least the pizza was good when it finally came out. Good vibes at the mantle
The Mantle is found in a converted warehouse overlooking Freo’s Port. It’s a haven for foodies, with more than one taste bud tempting venue to eat at – like Magna Pizza. The Mantle is also home to Don Tappa, Short Order Burger Co, Stampede Gelato and Alter Ego bar. The Mantle was actually our plan B. These two LOVE pizza.
Visited Magna Pizza inside The Mantle for a friend’s birthday. Great prices - for a group they do $25 a head - SO much pizza (also included bruschetta/garlic bread appetisers and Nutella dessert pizza) all tasted good. They also catered for a few vegans in our group. The truffle pizza was amazing, as was the chicken bbq pizza. The style (thin pizza, sparsely topped with choice ingredients) is my favourite. It’s also BYO with corkage included in the $25. I think this was incredible value. The only negative I have is that they were a bit disorganised and took a while to get things out because our host was under the impression that things would be served automatically but we did actually have to ask them to start the food - which was a bit odd but just something that needs to be better communicated. All in all we had a great night.
We have been twice for staff dinners, and will continue to come back. Works out to be very well priced per head, and is byo.
Some of the pizza combinations are a little odd and were definitely misses, but others were absolutely sensational! (The white truffle pizza, and the Adriano!)
The staff are friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is great, I wish it were dog friendly!
took kids here for a pizza as they had asked for weeks to go to Ruoccos, I though we would try local place.I was expecting the Burger joint to be opened on Sunday arvo, which wasn't,I learned the hard way that if you buy food at one vendor and bring it to another vendors seating, they get upset, staff also seemed unhappy that id brought in 2 little kidsPizza was ok, but lacked something. The whole place had a odd and unfriendly vibemaybe I just went on a bad day?
Truth Be Told Australia
+3.5
First thing we notice this time around visiting the Mantle on a Sunday lunch is its DEAD quiet .. and why does the burger place only open at night ?? They need to all open up get some live music and start attracting a crowd ..it's a shame as it's sometimes nice to escape the cappuccino strip, however not only was it quiet , but it really looks Like it needs a good clean, even for a warehouse. We sat near the window and all 3 little pot plants had tipped
Over and there was dirt spread all over the window seal not to mention the flies. 😏. After we got past that (3 mins later )Besides that This has always been a favourite pizza place of ours. We started with the crostino with mozzarella and mushrooms $13, great value , however it lacked a little seasoning. The pizza was the Adriano and it was delicious, could not fault it. The cheese was awesome $25. Ingredients are fabulous.. I hope you get the crowds you deserve one day .
Vibe at the mantle is a funky but chilled atmosphere. Stepping up into Magna's Pizza has a spread of seating options whether you're with a big group, small or just flying solo there are seating arrangements for everyone.
The choices on the menu will have you overwhelmed at deciding what to choose, however don't panic as there is no wrong choice with their quality flavour combinations.
Magna offers take away and is also available with uber eats. If you decide to dine in they also have a BYO option.
Only downfall is that the service can be hit and miss but overall it's a great place to dine. We've chosen Magna's pizza many times!
Excellent pizzas. Fresh and high quality ingredients. Not your standard style pizzas, these seem more authentic than many in perth. More 'soupy' like you find in Naples. So delicious. The set up is confusing. And it's hot inside... but the pizzas and byo booze is a winner
Just ate here for the second time, and it was just as good, if not better than the first. Seriously legit Pizza. Had the Adriano and the nerone pizzas which were amazeballs, and a mate of mine had the calzone which was the absolute tits. Definitely be going back once I'm feeling recovered from the pizza coma I'm about to enter. Best Pizza in WA!
In case you’re wondering… Yes. It is possible for a pizza base to be too thin.
The “Simplice” (margharita) we had tonight was delicious but unfortunately the base was pulled way too thin and the dough wasn’t able to hold the weight of the cheese and sauce on top. Couldn’t lift piece without it falling apart and creating a gooey mess. Shame bc the crust was really yum and it was a taste of what a slightly thicker base could’ve been. Good value for $18. Friendly service.
Really enjoyed the pizza here, could do with a little more toppings but otherwise very good.
What a groovy resto, feels authentically italian, delicious wood fired pizza and super friendly staff, with pizza specials on tonight. Love it, and will be back to check it out soon.
$15 Tuesday pizza, one of freos best kept secrets and it's BYO 😍😍😍
Amazing authentic wood fire pizza.
Would rank in my top three pizza places in Perth.
Great atmosphere. We were lucky to come at a quiet time, service was great and food was quick.
Will be back.
