A lovely cosy cafe with a great atmosphere and the food is awesome. I decided to try Dr Marty's crumpets with Nutella custard , banana and crushed hazelnuts. Omg, they are to die for ! Definitely going back.
A great little cafe. Provincial decor, great coffee and an intriguing view of the kitchen. You feel like you're in someone's home as they cook for you. Their take aways are also great. We cooked some of the sausages and had them on a pizza the other night. Delicious!
Quite a nice small little cafe with lots of variety on the menu, so great food for all. Really nice way to catchup over a coffee or hot chocolate. Overall, very nice cafe.

Read about this place in the Age good food guide. Popped in today for afternoon tea. Carrot cake was delish and the lovely lady made my chai extra hot as asked. Really liked the colour scheme and furniture. Will be back.
Excellent spot for coffee and a treat! Coffee is delicious and for soy drinkers they use bonsoy (the best!) Staff and service are top notch.

Love it! Went for Sunday breakfast early, I had the Nutella crumpets with fresh banana, so yummy. Very good coffee too. Will definitely be back, a local gem.
Cozy little store near the corner of Riversdale & Auburn Rds. Cute decor with little blue chairs, blue walls offsetting black and white make for a fresh but homely vibe. For a late lunch tried the Dr Marty's crumpets with lemon curd, roast quince and macadamia, add bacon. Also had the mushroom on white polenta, add pork & fennel sausage. All nice. Coffee good. An array of sweet treats on the bench such as blood orange & ricotta tea cake, honey joys, brownies and the like tempted. We didn't try this time howvevr. Nice little option for the local neighborhood.
I have eaten here several times and the food, coffee/drinks and service is always great. My usual is scrambled eggs and the "collard greens" which is a healthy mix of Chinese broccoli, kale and black cabbage with a hint of lemon garlic and chilli. Another dish hard to resist is the omelette, perfect amount of herbs and goats cheese served with buttery toast. Coffee is consistently good and the New Orleans style iced coffee is to die for as are the different house made lemonades. Although this little café has only been open a short while it is clear that the owners know their stuff as they feed the residents and workers of Hawthorn!
Wow! So we stumbled across this quaint little cafe over the weekend and it was seriously AMAZING! I ordered the penne pasta with truffles and OMG I wanted more and more and more! It was delicious. The decor is gorgeous and nothing I've seen in Melbourne before. The coffee was amazing too. We grabbed the take-home pasta sauce which was better than any spaghetti sauce I've every had. I will definitely be back!
Wow! Delicious minuet steak, amazing blue cheese butter... Great little wine list. My girlfriend loves the interior of this place, nice for an early dinner.
Kitchenette has become a favourite of my parents, they frequent the tiny cafe for coffee and cake in the afternoons. Recently we dined in the early evening and it was quite something. Warm and welcoming service, beautiful simple food. My parents are elderly and especially appreciate the lighter options on the dinner menu. I had a truffle and Gruyere cheese omelette, superb! A little slice of luxury in hawthorn, will definitely be back for dinner.
Local cafe, friendly staff, amazing passtries, which made by them. There are some premade meals and you can buy some kitchen items as well. Good coffee !!!
Lovely staff and great coffee, it’s now our coffee stop during weekdays. They have some nice pastries and cakes as well.

Well that was delicious! We ordered the Friday night special of wagu beef and mushroom pie , mushy peas and mashed potato. To top it off we had delish sticky date pudding. Great flavours and soo easy. Will be doing this again.
I love this cafe. Hands down my favourite place to eat in Melbourne. Everything is made with such care - I never knew a simple sandwich could taste so good! Don’t leave without a sweet treat.
