Very good flavors. Everything was made to order. It took a little longer, but was worth it. They were able to make most dishes in a vegetarian version. I will seek Malaysian food in the future. The ladies working there were very nice.

Overall, ours was an incredibly disappointing experience. This restaurant is no longer the MYU of old that had such a great reputation. The fried wonton were okay, and the beef rendang had good flavour and the meat was cooked well. However the curry sauce was quite thin and not enough was included in the bowl. At $26 I would expect more meat and sauce. The fried chicken bao were a major disappointment. The bun itself tasted as if it was not homemade, and each serve only seemed to include half a bun making it difficult to fold up. Further, there was half a slice of melted kraft single plastic cheese on the bao! At $8 a bun this is just ridiculous, and plastic cheese on a bao? The chicken itself was nice, but the whole bun was overpowered by the chutney. Food also took a long time to come out.

Great food and lovely homely atmosphere. If the menu says 2 pieces and there is three of you then the portions are scaled up to suit the dinner party. A unique little place in the North Hobart suburbs well worth a try.

Away from the main tourist drag, this place serves scrumptious meals. A modern take on cuisine from around Asia. Everything we had was exquisite. Another reason to come down from Melbourne more often.

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been. The foods are super over priced. I ordered Laksa and pork dumpling and It's the worst food I've ever eaten. I feel so sick. Not freshly cooked. The dumplings were taste like a eraser.

If you pass by this place you will probably not even notice this restaurant which would be a shame. Regardless its simplicity, this restaurant packs a lot of flavours. They're always changing the menu just a little bit from time to time so is a good idea to go there once in awhile to taste the new deliciously dishes.

What an awesome place and love the unique menu. Goat curry is my fave and an absolute treat. Not sure how this one stayed under the radar for so long. Bit on the cool side, but great service and outstanding meals. Nice work team!

My favourite restaurant in Hobart! The addition of the pork belly in Guinness and honey was just spectacular, the clay pot chicken was awesome as always. Super friendly service and so very accomodating of adjusting dishes for the kidlets. Please, please keep the Gua Bao - the tastiest, most authentic food to be found ❤️

Wow, just wow! This was the most delightful gastronomic experience I have had in a very long time.. all the more so for being so completely unpretentious. Simple, relaxed, so friendly. We (group of five) tried pretty much everything on the menu and still came in at a very reasonable price. What a gem!!

Delicious food, friendly service. Perfect bao with crispy Korean fried chicken, and flavoursome and tender braised pork spare rib.

Just found this gem of a restaurant. The space is tiny but the food is amazing and service so friendly.

I was so impressed with the food at Myu! My friend and I are vegetarians and we gave them a day's notice and the food was spectacular - if you are a vegetarian let them know in advance to give them time to cater for you. The curries were amazing, and those cheesy rice balls (forgive me forgetting the name!) were delicious. Our boyfriends also loved their duck curry and their roti bread was mouth-wateringly good. Thanks so much for your warm and kind service and for catering so well to us herbivores! We will definitely be back :)

We ordered our third takeaway having our usual Hianee claypot chicken and Tamarind Pork and also tried the Momo chicken and Radish Cakes. As usual beautifully presented even as a takeaway the food was absolutely delicious and the radish cakes are really yummy. compliments to the chef. Cannot fault the food or service, thankyou. cheers Liz

Unfortunately not much for vegetarians or fish eaters, unless you like over-priced boiled cod....I did not like the way the waitress/come owner served food with a baby strapped to her chest! I dislike watching a sniffing youngster hanging over the food I am about to eat. The 'eatery' (it hardly can be called a restaurant) is expensive considering the owners are the waitresses as well as the cooks and bottle washers. The service was very slow, but I assume it took time to defrost the cod. I doubt I will return.... Like

5. Great food, lovely people. Don't expect fine dining, but you can expect fine good. Changing menu which is great, as we've been here twice this week.

Family dinner on Tuesday night, the food was to die for, so flavoursome. Owners are delightful, will definitely return soon.

Friendly service and delicious food. Dad cooking and Mum at front of house. They coped with our suddenly arrival in a group of seven within a tiny establishment pretty well. A decent little wine list too!

This was an awesome "first time" experience - the food and laid back hospitality was awesome thanks Myu and to the hostess with the mostess for her wise advice

Very small place so pays to book ahead. Came with no expectations and so pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent and like nothing I've tried before. The murtabak is definitely one I'll be back for. The chilli fish was a little plain but the kimchi noodles were amazing and had a pleasant kick of chilli.

As a south East Asian we can be quite persnickety about what is authentic and what is not, and this is definitely the real deal. Friendly staff and great flavours I need say no more.. two thumbs up !

Lovely dining experience everytime I visit this place. Friendly owners. Love the take Ian has on his dishes. With the menu changing there is always something different to try. Good for a social catch up with family or friends. Ling always helpful in recommending the right dishes and some lovely wine too. My all time favourite is the hainanese chicken Rice. With that said still yet to be let down after trying something new here. Recommended

Myu Easy Bites is spot on. The team are lovely, and while the menu is only quite small, I was glad it was because it was really hard to choose what to order. Everything we tried was delicious - fresh ingredients, great flavours and generous servings. Three of us shared two entrees and two mains and we couldn't finish everything. With a glass of wine each, our meal cost less than $30pp.

I tried to go a week later and called 4 days ahead and they were already booked out! I definitely recommend.

Shhhh... Best kept Asian food secret in Hobart. Have eaten in some seriously high end Asian restaurants locally and on the mainland and this tiny, 2 person kitchen beats them all. Innovative , fresh and consistently good.

Cheap and cheerful. Friendly laid back service, and delicious food. Excellent value too. We will return.

Small restaurant, big taste. This little place is tucked away on New Town Rd... I drove past it nearly every day for a year before I realised it was there. But in spite of not drawing attention to itself, it seems to have no problem attracting customers, and once you've tasted the food you can see why. You have a choice of ordering regular-sized mains, or a few of the "easy bites" which are smaller dishes. Both work well to share, and everything I've tried there has been delicious. It has the casual, friendly atmosphere of a family-run place, and if you're lucky you'll also get to meet the owner's cute baby.

The place is a small cosy establishment, run by a young couple. It has a very relaxed and casual vibe brought about by the new young mum with her baby strapped to her back as she serves up bowls of delicious Laksa. I have tried just about everything on the menu, which is modest but suited to the size of the kitchen. All meals here are served in generous portions and priced appropriately, entrees are big enough to share as well. To boast about a couple of meals; The Rendang curry is absolutely delicious, served traditionally dry with dried fish and egg garnish, allowing all fla
