One of my favourite restaurants in Hobart. Have been there for years, and the food, drinks, and service are just superb! Birthday free dessert is always a warm bonus, and sometimes the owner would provide fruit and snacks if you are lucky enough. I really like the year of tiger’s special dish Creamy King Prawns and Wontons! Just AMAZING!

We ordered from here after reading they where in the top 5 dumplings in Hobart. I would hate to try the other 4 because this was one of the worst meals I've had. I don't mean to be rude but I love dumplings and Chinese food and we eat alot of it. Plain mince only in the spring rolls, what tasted like the prawn dumplings you buy in a packet in the supermarket, burnt dried up rice that smelt like curry powder and chicken that had none authentic Chinese flavours, I would recommend to try elsewhere than eat here.

Great Asiatic food in North Hobart. Special mention to the crispy eggplant. But everything is flavourful and fresh. You cannot pick wrong.

Was casually walking past this place tonight.
My partner and I felt like some Asian food,
so we decided to give Mu LAN a go.
Food was beautiful, fresh and full of flavour.
We will definitely come back to this place.

It’s really difficult to find such a good Chinese restaurant in Hobart. Me and my friend went to the restaurant tonight and order several dishes. The almond prawn is amazing! My friend prefers the lamb dumplings. About the main dishes, we ordered cumin lamb, eggplant and three shot chicken. All of the dishes are very nice and the service is great!

The BEST Chinese food we've eaten in Tasmania & Melbourne! We were here from Melbourne, and accidentally found Mulan and thank goodness! Real, authentic good quality and tasting food. To top it off amazing service. Will come back to Tasmania just to eat here ����� Thank you Ivy and team xx

They were flat out because understaffed but goddamn was the food excellent. The beef and mushroom just melted and the chairman Mao pork was delicious. Will be back each time we visit Hobart I think.

Service was phenom. Was a bit slack at one point but they were very busy. Worked in hospitality in the past and know how crazy it gets. Waitress always had a smile on her face! :) Food was presented beautifully and was very tasty as well. The 3 shot chicken is awesome if you want something savoury and sweet and not too spicy!
