Review Thai Veggie Hutt - Hobart

A quick fix for lunch!!! Amazing Thai home cooked meals here. Will definitely come back. Located inside the small alley of the building.

I recommend to get the $16 three choices with rice/noodles. I assume its the same portion size as the $12 one choice, but the variety makes it worth it. And the container is packed! When the lady there started picking up the noodles I was already not too pleased with how stingy she was being, but it was the taste that really mattered anyhow. Got the curry, BBQ and another choice. It was so sweet it hardly tasted like a savoury dish. I'm not usually one to leave food behind, but I just couldn't finish some of the things on my plate.

One of the best veggie places in Hobart! Been eating here for 1.5 years. Always a delight. Worth every dollar spent! Thanks guys!

Here was one of my favorite place. They recently decrease the large size take away plate. Medium size and large size take away plate is same size. Food quality decreased too. I will give them one more chance if it is same, I will not come there again. Hope they fix it.

The best vego soy dishes I have had in my life. Consistently. I can't stop coming back. Because it is the best. Literally the best. Eat here. Now.

Wow! The most incredible food! It is so good and so fragrant and so delicious. Don’t hesitate to go in there, it’s absolutely a treat. It’s some of the best food I’ve had and it’s not just “vegetarian” good, even meat lovers will love this.

Never had a bad meal here. It's a shame the space is small - best suited to takeaway - but well worth it for the deliciousness. And all vegan - win!

Really enjoy the food here even if you mostly pay for white rice! This reduces your value for money. Little left by 2.30 pm. I am vegetarian but even meat lovers could enjoy a meal here. Glad there are less spicy options on the menu too, Always tasty and relatively nutritious. Would LOVE a brown rice option also. Very tiny eat in area and very busy around lunchtime so don’t expect to get a table but takeaway is fine too though. When are you opening in LAUNCESTON, please?🤔😄😋🤞🏻

I am a big meat eater and I was so sure that some food items in my fried rice had to be meat, but nothing was and I can't believe how yummy it was. Will be back soon

Love this place. Thinking it would be more economical to buy enough dishes for a fortnight & freeze into serving sizes.

Have been going here for many years but this week I went in and you are now charging a min $15 EFTPOS fee. I asked if I can just pay the surcharge that most places would offer and was declined. I was told next time I need to bring cash. Sorry guys but it's inconvenient for me to get cash out JUST to order food from you. There won't be a next time. You definitely have become very stingy with your toppings too. 3/4 of my dish was noodles and only 1/4 was of the actual topping. For almost $8 that's a bit of a rip off. I'm basically paying $8 for plain noodles. Please go back to not charging min $15 EFTPOS fee and giving at least 1/2 topping because you are losing customers

Fantastic veggie food but agree with other reviews that $15 eftpos minimum is utterly ridiculous and off-putting for what is otherwise an awesome place to eat.

Just tried the laksa, it was very good! Full of veggies..Will b back!

Great food, but please get rid of your Minimum $15 EFTPOS. I shall not be back due to this. Highest I have seen in Tasmania ever. No excuse for it other than forcing people to spend more as single transaction to business is only $0.30cents. Most Banks now it is against there EFTPOS Contract with the Business to charge Minimum EFTPOS use such as Commonwealth bank.
