Review Hobart Brewing Company - Hobart

Valerie Jacquard
Such a great place to enjoy a local beer ! A large choices of beer and other drinks. The venue offers a lot of space to seat and drink. You can come with friends and family. There are also food trucks if you are a little hungry. The staff is very nice.

Great experience. Local Brewing company located amongst Macquarie Point Precinct. Great location. Community edible garden, food, fire pit. Perfect place to catch up with friends. Fur baby friendly. A must see and enjoy.

Pretty cool set up, loved the fire pit. The staff were super friendly. Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy the beers and left them unfinished. Definitely suggest they offer tasting paddles to avoid waste and disappointment.

Quite a cool place, the fires out the back were great and the live music stage was a mint setup

I try to visit breweries in every city I visit. I enjoyed spending time at this one because of the nice spaces they have to just chill and enjoy your beer. We were here in summer so the weather was wonderful. A good selection of beers on tap as well as some Gins. I reviewed some of their beers on Untappd. Beers were served in biodegradable plastic cups rather than glass. Great place to just hang out.

Legends. XPA and IPA both exceptional. Very cool spot as well

Enjoyed coming here over a weekend in Hobart. The outdoor fires were appreciated given the cool June weather. The beers available were also enjoyable. Large outdoor seating area, not common to a lot of mainland breweries set a pleasant communal scene. They also offer live music too.

Nice place, they had fire pits outside and heaters inside. I had the Bluey Red IPA which was delicious.

a sweet venue. great beers, great booze for those not into beer all backed up with an amazing staff. Get to Hobart and get into Hobart Brewing! beer is best in the shadow of the brewery

Unique brewery bar with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Tried the New Colorado IPA and I loved it. All the beers on tap are really good. The St Christopher is another beer worth trying. Great for groups of friends to catch up. Easy Walking distance to city and Salamanca Square

We went on a Sunday afternoon and there is a food truck market in the lot next door! This made for an excellent evening eating pizza and drinking beer! The beer was excellent!

From my FB post while at the Brewery - "Oh look - I found a craft brewery! How'd I do that?... Hobart Brewing Co has some great beers, & some very friendly staff, such as Jacob. Hopefully, they'll bottle and ship to Sydney soon. I sampled the TILP IPA, the Colorado, & the stout. I had a pint of the Harbour Master, & a schooner of the Xtra Pale Ale. In about 20 minutes, as I was under orders from Anna to get my arse back to the Emerald Princess. Very good brewery! "

Amazing beers, super friendly staff, another one of my favourite brewers here in Tassie. Make sure to check them out!

We loved Harbour Master Ale straight from the tap at the brewery. Floral notes, fruity with depth and very satisfying. Super friendly and enthusiastic crew at the brewery bar. Keen to sit and sample at the new bar once it is finished.

fantastic! Best beer garden in Tasmania! I just wish they had a few outdoor gas heaters in winter.

Top little spot for a beer , music and a bite to eat.

Top place. Great outside on warm summer evenings but warm in the cooler times with big open crate fires to gather round and sink the local brews - the ipas are all excellent and pack a punch

Attended Hoptober yesterday and really enjoyed it. Good food, good beer, cider and wine and great tunes especially Jaye Jerome. A very pleasant way to spend our last afternoon in Tassie after a great week.

Took my glass before I had even finished my drink. At least you can't say they're not efficient :|

Brilliant way to enjoy a winters afternoon. Relaxing with one of the Hobart Brewing Company's cold beers in the Winters sun. The Chestnut Brown was perfect 👌

Awesome find. I loved the layout, atmosphere, massive outdoor area, view and the open fire drum just stopped it off. Beer and Cider was perfect too.
