Good coffee, carrot cake was fair. A bright, warm 'bakery atmosphere' with lots of delicious cakes and savouries on display. Plenty of comfortable indoor seating. Newspapers available to read.
Minimal customer service, (but not unfriendly)... you have to pick up coffee when called out, carrot cake was in a bag, coffee in cardboard cups with self-serve cutlery and napkins.

Today was my first time visit in banjo’s Sandy bay. Superb Coffee, the barista made exactly the right coffee that i asked for. I will come back again. Thank you for quick service too.

Beautiful clean Cafe. Staff really friendly. Very fresh egg salad sandwich even though prepared earlier, pretty good coffee.

Today I bought coffee one staff was very rude, she gave me wrong money. I gave her $5 to buy regular size coffee, at first time she gave me $5.5 change and I told her it was wrong. After a second, she said it was wrong and she wanted all of money to give her. I have gave her $5 back and why she still want that 50 cents change ? It was extremely weird. Her attitude was very bad. I won’t come back this coffee shop at any place .

Visited for the third consecutive day and while the previous visits were nice. Didn't have any spinach and ricotta rolls ready and litter was on the tables once again. Disappointed, I wasn't able to grab lunch today.

Very nice banjos with scrumptious looking pastries and pies. Coffee is OK but lunch options are really tasty, can't go wrong with the spinach and ricotta roll.

Poorly run, will get your order wrong all the time and have such a flippant attitude about wasting your time. Shop elsewhere

Coffee is weak and flavourless and in my option overpriced. The staff were friendly however and service was fast.

Ok so I'm a bit of a pastry nut on occasions and if the temperature drops ever so slightly I go looking for it. Preferably hot! I didn't have a lot of time so dropped in to grab a pie and chose the Cape Grim beef. It was rather different than what I expected, and probably just a lot less tasty. I usually go for the cottage pie, but apparently that isn't baked daily. Im not usually such a negative diner, but having to actually think about it has made me a little more fussy. The dining area was a bit grimy and I know they can do better than that. Undoubtedly I'll go back whilst I'm working in the area for the next few months, but I must admit that I do get a better deal eating a toastie or a bowl of homemade soup from the Sandy Bay bakery up the road.

This is one of the worst places in the world that I have ever been to. Customer service from rude, disgusting trollops and food quality I wouldn't give to a dying Ethiopian.
