Very tasty pies. They have a reasonable selection of other bakery food too.
The bakery is a small shed next to their house. The location is very scenic and a relaxing place to eat.
Like one of the other reviews said, the customer service isn't world class. Not compared to some of the other food spots we visited around Hobart. They'd get 5 stars if that had been on point. Maybe hiring someone to serve might be good for business.
Overall though, excellent food and worth a visit if you're nearby.

We just moved to the area and thought we'd head over to see what all the fuss was about.... Wasn't dissapointed. Awesome food! I meant to take a photo of the custard pie but I ate it too quickly. Vanilla slice is 10/10. Keep up the great work, we'll be back!

Love this place! They use real butter in their pastry. Their pies are great and I’m very fond of their huge array of sweet treats! A bit of a step back in time. Also very happy to feel relaxed and free from onerous rules in their presence.

The biggest and best Custard tarts I've tasted yet, plenty of Custard and base has excellent texture and thickness is just right
Pies, Sausage Rolls and Pasties are Top notch as well

What a lovely bakery, we enjoyed all we bought today our pastries tasted as good as they looked, eclairs would be the best we have had & the bread was lovely as well. It was so hard to choose as there was a lovely selection & will be back. Ps Gerald said the sausage rolls were as good as his mum used to make. Thank you

I was introduced to this little peace of heaven over the weekend by friends who have been coming here for years. There is so much to choose from, so we bought lots. The french vanilla slice is delicious and the pies were amazing. Top customer service, we will make any excuse to call in now.

Oh my. This was one of those random Google finds that leads to awesome town. I had the pepper pie which was fantastic, but left me wanting more. I grabbed a sausage roll chaser that was easily the best I've ever had. Thanks heaps Rick!
