The shop looks quiet, but you will be surprised by how delicious the food are. All the food in the photos are homemade & they are cooked by Con. I highly recommended this Greek restaurant.
The food were so yummy & were cooked to perfection with decades of experience. You will also get to meet Cam, who is a super friendly and funny staff. He provides the best customer service.

Owner was very friendly. The food presented was reasonable. I had the lamb Souvla which was delicious but was served on top of not chips, would have much preferred that on a Greek salad, fries as an option. The chips had an odd flavour, like maybe the cooking oil was old.
The Seafood platter was generous but maybe a bit overpriced. Again that same odd flavour from the cooking oil. Chose a Greek wine and it was okay.

Had a lovely dinner at Europa with the family - it is the quality of the ingredients, the warm welcome from our hosts and the long experience of the chef that saw us leave smiling.

As locals we were delighted to find this lovely taverna. It is open long past the early closing times of most of the Sandy Bay eateries.
The food is fresh and tasty, good value and the wine is very reasonably priced.
The proprietors are warm and welcoming.

Absolutely the Best Greek I have had since the Greek Taverna in South Yarra closed. My wife and I have had the grilled octopus, Spanakopita, Moussaka, and Blue Eye. Amazing quality, amazing taste, and amazing value. I cannot recommend these gentlemen more. They are real Greeks who moved here over 40 years ago. You just can't find this quality anymore, anywhere. When this generation is gone, this excellent food is gone with them. Don't wait, enjoy it while you can :-)

Bought cherries here and love supporting small businesses especially when they are family owned. However, service was horrendous. There was only 1 bloke in the restaurant - and I had to wait forever to get his attention. He saw me - but was busy tending tables. And when he did arrive, he was grumpy, rude and I would have bought food too but decided to just get the cherries. Didn’t appreciate his tone/lack of customer service - and I am happy to take my business elsewhere! :)

Always quality and value for money. I've never had a nasty experience at Europa and I have been going there for years. The main proprietor owned the first souvlaki store in Hobart and that was over 40 years ago, while Europa has been open for at least 15. Everything there is cooked fresh to order and made with what I consider to be a genuine passion and thorough knowledge of Greek food. Indeed, the spit lamb is quality meat, unlike some other kabab and souvlaki places. Their burgers are massive, tasty with tonnes of quality ingredients. And I'm really chuffed with their tasty vegetarian options since going vego about a year ago. Their recent addition pizzas are also awesome value for money, and packed with yummy toppings on a lovely light housemade dough.The folks there are always lovely to chat to and kind enough to throw in the odd complimentary halva slice ;) As a small scale, long running local business, these guys are doing it right and deserve kudos!

Amazing. Best souvlakis, hands down. The Older Greek man I assume the owner, is very friendly, Better than next door. They make them fresh in front of you. Now they also deliver which is grate.
Eating Out
NEVER GO HERE!!. We ordered 2 lamb & chicken kababs takeaway, we get home to see the chicken is RAW. We went back to let them know the chicken isn't cooked through, we didn't want our money back or another kabab just for him to not serve it to anyone else. The older Greek man, who I assume is the owner starts yelling at us shuffing chicken in his mouth saying he chicken is fresh and he always eats it, we explain chicken needs to be fresh but also cooked through. Among other things he then yells at us to F##K OFF!!
