Decided to get something easy from here on a Sunday evening. Food is a little pricey and ended up getting a gyudon. When I got the food, couldn't believe how small the portion sizes were. It had a few slices of beef and it tasted pretty ordinary. The beef and left over broth had no flavour, even though there were quite a few ingredients you can barely taste anything.
Not worth the amount you pay.

I hardly see my seven-year-old son enjoy food. He is so fastidious. Today we had dinner at Bento on Harrington Street and my son finished a don with eel and chicken dinner box (I can’t remember the exact menu). We also ordered curry, but it was too spicy for him. I had salmon sashimi. It was fresh and couldn’t believe its price (4 pieces for 5 dollars). We will definitely go there again, maybe weekly!

Served us cold spring rolls drizzled with sweet chilli sauce. Chicken karaage drizzled with white sauce that didn’t quite taste like mayonnaise. Chicken and rice served with peas and corn? And tempura bento box came with prawn tempura and pumpkin and no other type of veggie. Tempura sauce tasted like plain soy sauce. And cabbage salad again drizzled with white stuff that white mayo stuff. Sad lunch experience.

Visiting Hobart and after looking at the other restaurants in the area I chose Bento, great Japanese , very well price and friendly service.

I bought some chicken sushi and few other sushi it very well filled my tummy but the taste of the food is not so good the chicken is cold as ice and the chicken is rubbery. For the amount you pay you can get equality sushi in Eastlands and town.
