Wonderful to see the place revitalised - I remember dining in the old formal Cliveden Room back in the day. I had a drink with a friend in the bar with snacks a few weeks ago, terrific food & atmosphere.
Then Thursday evening went with husband and another couple to the Dining Room. Wonderful selection of food and the cook to order theatre style was marvellous. Had to finish with dessert and the home made ice-creams, chocolate fountain (white & dark) plus assortment of petite sweets took us all to our happy places :)
The staff were attentive, appreciated the maitre d' directing us to a table away from a party pf 30 guests. One waitress a little too attentive, there's a skill to interrupting diners deep in conversation. The chef was so proud & enthusiastic explaining what was on offer - really appreciated his mingling with us.
Bonus was an included glass of wine (we added to it!) and being Accor Plus members the value of the meal was fantastic. Will definitely go back again - maybe the seafood night next time :)
Great friendly staff. Can’t do enough to ensure you have a great experience. Beautiful variety of food. Spotless. Lovely setting , not crowded.
