Have eaten here since I was able to hold a fork .. 30 years later & any chance I get I grab a takeaway , amazing to still see some original staff working here , best authentic italian food around �
Amazing amazing! My family and I had the most delicious pasta and tiramisu I have ever eaten. The food was so fresh and just melted in our mouths. We will be making this place our regular.
Best pasta in Australia, maybe even the world. I have been going here for 24 years, we always get the party tray of vegetarian pasta. It is enough food for a few meals but absolutely delicious.
Amazing Italian food, fantastic customer service. My favourite thing I get is the ricotta ravioli and it's honestly to die for. The prices are so cheap and affordable too! I absolutely love this little Gem , they also luckily have the option of having it hot or cold 10/10
The long list of good reviews was not wrong. Had a spaghetti bol, and carbonara, such beautiful flavours and very reasonable price. Will definitely be back next time in Newcastle.
Had the big pasta takeout which came with three choices of pasta for $18. Pumpkin pasta was recommended as one of the three and it tasted great. All three pasta was al dente matched with its sauce. Pizza was great too.
Oh Lasagne World... how you value me. Although I am often afraid to order some dishes, as I cannot pronounce them, this has never stopped me from ripping into a yummy puttanesca. My fellas and I often try and go out for tea in the city, and are reliably crestfallen when popular venues are booked out. Sure, the ownice is on me for not making a reservation, but you mustn't blame a small town girl for chasing a spontaneous meal. In saying this, Lasagne World always has my back. I love eating succulent take away pasta's in Newcastle's most iconic locations, including: markettown carpark, mayfield white goods graveyard, and kooragang bp. Their pasta is always cooked as fresh as the prince of Belmont and their take away containers are so hot you could brand livestock with them. I am yet to meet the Don, but when I do, i'll give him a right handed shake.
Would reccomend a trip to Lasagne World for the whole family.
Delicious! We will definitely be going back to try more pasta and perhaps a pizza! The service was also great and they took the time to answer our pasta questions.
Newcastle Institution
This is home style Italian cooking and country hospitality at its best. I was initially a little put off because I don't like to see food in bain-maries, but the food was terrific. My husband and I tried the veal saltimbocca and a couple of pastas - parmigiana (tomato eggplant) and vodka chilli. The food was tasty, the portions were generous and the service was friendly.
