Very authentic Italian restaurant. Great food , great service. We had a group of 10 so the waitress recommended a mix platter of starter to share. It was delicious. However there are no pasta options on the night, I was looking forward to try the seafood pasta that I saw from other’s post. Anyways we order a meter long pizza . The pizza base was quite moist and fluffy not a crusted base. But it still taste good. 10% discount if paid by cash. Will recommend and will revisit again.

This is my favourite pizza place in Sydney. I highly recommend the Tricolore pizza and the Siciliana pizza. Exceptional customer service. The staff are all very nice and chatty. The ambience is cozy and inviting. I love the decor. For the best pizza experience I strongly suggest dining in.

This is the best pizza I’ve had in Sydney. Seriously. The crust is absolute perfection and the sauce is so rich. They’ve got lots of seating but it does get busy even on a weeknight. It’s that good. I can’t wait to return!

We should've visited a long time ago. Pizza was superb, so much better than expectation, a real gem. Great cosy vibe and awesome set up. Even saw a verandah which would be great in summer. Service was also great, plenty of staff but never annoying and never in your face but there if you needed anything. Now we know why this one of the best pizza places in Sydney.

Their pizzas are epic. The ingredients are always fresh, all hand made, the base is next level, it’s completely made in house and it’s not too thin, it’s not too thick, it’s never hard like cardboard or a biscuit like most of the other pizza shops in the area are like. The staff are excellent.

The photos below are how the pizzas were genuinely cut. We got the wrong order as they gave us the wrong pizzas, there were things we chose to remove on the pizza but they were on the pizza meaning my wife who is allergic to artichokes could no longer eat it. Was very excited to try this place out but would have to say I’m utterly disappointed and dissatisfied.

This is just my personal opinion, and others may find the food taste excellent. The dough is so chewy, so so chewy, that it sticks to my teeth and my jaw got so tired. When ate together with the pochetto, I can't swallow a portion of my food. Topping is great, lots of rockets but they are somewhat bitter.The gnocchi on the contrary has no texture to it. My friend asks if I have tasted any gnocchi because it can be swallowed with the sauce. Other than that, service is great. But I only assess the food. See bio.

Updated review: I recommend the Angioletti con Nutella for dessert! It’s filling but so good (esp. if you love Pizzeria Da Alfredo’s dough as much as we do) But we will probably not re-order the Alfredo Fantasy. It’s fun for the element of surprise, but we didn’t like the pizza we got as much as what we usually have, so we will probably stick to our faves: Calzone Al Forno, Capricciosa & Sofia Loren. —————— This became my partner’s favourite pizza place! We ordered the Calzone Al Forno, Capricciosa and Calamari. I’m not usually a big fan of Calzone but this one was delicious! The dough was tasty and had a good texture and the filling was so juicy! The calamaris were tender and the Capricciosa was tasty as well (we really liked the dough!)

This is the best pizza you will find in Sydney and dare I say Australia. Being an Italian myself home grown from Rome I can say that Pizzeria Da Alfredo has one of the best pizza menus in town and the pizza is to die for!!! On top of that, the staff and chefs are the friendliest and nicest people! It is a great local, family run business which I can only recommend and encourage people to eat at!

What an amazing Italian. The produce was absolute stunning even something as simple as grilled zucchini sang! Wonderful service fast, crazy on a Saturday night but felt you were at a big Italian wedding!! The pizza is insane, puffy charred chewy crust. Definitely bring friends and opt for the 45 dollar set menu

I have been in Sydney for one year now and this is the best pizza I've ever had here, authentic Neapolitan pizza. The antipasto was great too, all the ingredients were fresh and of the best quality; it felt like being home. Friendly and courteous staff. Alfredo and his brother are masters in the pizza making, very friendly and modest, it was nice to have a chat with them. The restaurant has a good position in the fine Glebe suburb, it is definitely a must if you want to taste the authentic Neapolitan pizza that otherwise you would be able to taste only in Naples.

Impeccable service from the lady at the register on saturday night. Pizza was to be honest the greatest I have eaten. The whole store is Unique and traditional from the onset. We ordered and then the staff even carried our pizza to us. A local gem that is deserving of 10 stars. Sydney is lucky to have this pizza store �

Great REAL Italian place!!! We found this place by chance, but we found it so good that we went back again and again!! Service is great and quick, the food is fabulous! The 13-inch pizza is big enough to fill you, but sharing a meter is a great idea as well. If you want a taste of real Italian food this is definitely the place!! And I'm Italian!! Everyone in the restaurant is nice and friendly! Absolutely Recommend!

Super friendly and helpful. Didn't make any reservation but the staff understood we were hungry with two munchkins hoping to get some pizza. The staff help us get a table and a short hair lady with tattoo (sorry, I didn't get your name) took our order. Suddenly our food were served on our table. My wife and I were so shocked! Me and my friend went there for an early dinner, the waiters there were very friendly. The pizza we had was called partenopea which is has toppings of cheese, ham, Italian salami. The toppings can be a bit salty. The pizza base was very soft and chewy. Overall it’s very delicious.

Good service. We were quickly seated and the servers were prompt to take our order, serve meals and check in with us during the evening. <br/><br/>Food was delicious. Fresh ingredients and portions were satisfactory. Friend ordered a gluten free gnocchi (gnocchi alla sorrentina - pictured with the metre long pizza) and was very impressed.

Outstanding. The burrata and accompaniments were melt in your mouth; spaghetti allo scoglio perfectly al dente with the mussels plump, cooked to just right and no more. Our Sophia Loren pizza provided the perfect crusts to mop up the pasta sauce. Very happy and look forward to going again. Wait staff were helpful and very attentive.

Definitely one of the best pizzas in Sydney. Honestly, you can’t say ‘the best’ of any pizza out there because there are so many different styles, however, as far as wood fired Napoli style pizza goes you really can’t beat this.<br/>The dough is spot on and tiger striped out of the oven. Simple toppings but great balance of flavours across the board... even their margarita is really great... and if you can get that right then everything else is also awesome! <br/>Good wine selection too.<br/>I have been here a few times now. Even split a meter long pizza with 3 friends and we couldn’t finish it. <br/>Can’t recommend this joint enough.<br/>Great staff too!!!

It's Friday night which usually means date night. Tonight we are looking forward to some traditional Napoli flavours at Pizzeria Da Alfredo in Glebe.  I immediately notice the huge pizza oven as I enter and I also notice how good looking the staff are. . Matt and I are seated at the back where it's starting to get busy. By about 7pm, the entire restaurant is quite full. A little birdie tells me that the Owner and Head Chef Alfredo has a deep connection to his home town Naples and that all the food on the menu is authentic so you won't find any pineapple on pizza here.

Excellent pizza but terribly understaffed. We had to wait half an hour for a table we had booked. They took ages to take our order and our wine arrived long after our pizza did. <br/>Tiramisu cup was full of cream and hardly any sponge or liqueur.

Good food but terrible service which ruins the experience of said food. Pizza came out very quickly and pasta was good however the 2 waiters we had were so rude and treated us like idiots when we asked for explanations of the food and wine which I would expect comes with the job.

Absolutely love this place. The quality of the ingredients was exceptional and the pizza base was amazing. Definitely my favourite pizza place in Sydney. The service was great although please be warned English may not be their first language. However the staff were friendly and attentive.

I agree with Rojwara. Have been here twice now with same results . Far too noisy and it wasn't packed. Wait people extremely rude and unhelpful - all I wanted was to change one small ingredient and  was told  I couldn't . This was after the same person had to go to the chef 3 times as she didn't know what was on  the menu eg what was the tomato sauce - had a special name - are the black olives kalamata -basic questions. Got the attention of another wait person who said of course we could have the changed ingredient . Good but within 3 minutes was told the chef won't do it . Then at the end overcharged - didn't say anything because had enough and certainly didn't want to argue with a very unreasonable chef. Such a pity - was a lovely inviting restaurant great food and the customer service before - miss it. So bad this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review .

Amazing place to eat, love the traditional pizza, staff are always amazing and treat my guests and me like family! Love the Nutella pizza and the calamari! I can understand why people get confused expecting simple takeaway like Pizza Hut but get this traditional style, if you want a really good experience and quality food try it out!

This pizzeria is a new addition to Glebe point Rd I suspect but a very nice addition to Glebe. I have driven past many of times and it was under construction and anticipated on checking out this Napoli pizzeria.<br/>I have been craving pizza for quite some time and so headed there tonight for take away pizza. <br/>Not surprising that this place was full house. The pizzas smelt amazing and saw what the other diners were eating and it looked absolutely delicious. <br/>They sell inch long pizzas which would have been ideal for a group of friends, but I decided on an 13' Salsiccia E Friariell (see pic below). Just enough to satisfy my cravings.<br/>The base was soft and fluffy, and right amount of topping that was fresh and tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the pizza on a Friday night. I know where to get pizza next time around. It's such a great addition to this eating strip.<br/>
