It’s a nice little restaurant. Food was just ok. Never had Bun bo hue with raw beef and bean sprouts. Usually have that with pho. The seafood crispy noodle needed more sauce/gravy. Had lots of veggies but capsicum with it was weird. Food took a while to come out, maybe they were short staff? Finished the bun bo hue and waited a while for the crispy noodles. Don’t think I will be returning here but it was good to give it a try.

3 stars because I expect pho servings to be abundant. I was actually surprised at the lack of noodles in the soup (compared to gia hoi etc.) and I've been to quite a few pho places. The beef was also very average. Taste was okay nice. I would NOT come back here for pho again BUT wouldn't dissuade anyone from giving their other dishes a try.

Possibly the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Sydney CBD. They don't have a speciality dish, because most of their dishes are pretty freakin delicious. I eat at Pho Tonkin 2-3 nights a week, because their servings are generous, price is reasonable, food is hearty and tasty, service is fast and friendly. Great place to go for a casual meal.

I don’t like to give bad reviews but this was quite shocking. I got the rare beef pho however the broth was luke warm (almost could say it was cold) so the rare beef literally didn’t cook. I showed the waiter and instead of replacing the dish they gave me a side bowl of freshly hot soup (I thought it would be better if they boiled the dish so the meat would cook). So the entire pho bowl was full of blood so it was very gross. Also, usually pho comes with the fresh veg so it just seemed v unauthentic. If you accidentally end up here I suggest ordering vegetarian and stay away from any meat!

Good pho. Regular size is already good size for adults. Cozy and peaceful shop

In Townhall, it was ok. I had the pho dac biet $14 regular size. The broth was ok, but I felt it the quantity of noodles and meat was small for the price. You get 1 meat ball chopped in half, 1 small piece of cartilage some brisket and some slided rare beef. I prefer Pho Gia Hoi up the street. Though their Pho Dac Biet is $15.

Perfect weather for pho.

Venue:
Located on Pitt street ( opposite Oliver brown )

Service:
Friendly and professional

Food&Drink:
I ordered oxtail pho.
They are promoting Chef special and I don’t mind to try.
Not regret my decision at all.
The meat from the oxtail is falling off the bone,
The broth it self, so aromatic and full of flavour.
I recommend this dish to try.

Best Pho Noodle Soup in CBD. I had rare beef noodle soup. The rare beef here is very soft , and very fresh. The taste is very traditional. The flavor is the same of a bowl of Pho I had in Saigon. Highly recommend.
