Vegan junk food at its finest, great location in Newtown. I had the non-fish and chips along with fake prawns on a skewer, the prawns tasted almost identical to the real deal. I highly enjoyed the food and overall menu.

Didn’t fancy deep fried “seafauxd” so ordered the garlic prawn skewers which were pretty tasty and garlicky. The chips had really nice chip spice on them and the ketchup they serve is tasty too. They also put together a basic side salad (not on the menu) for me too which was nice. Priced fairly.

Vegan imitation fish!! It tastes so close to the real thing too, and it's reasonably priced! The garlic prawns were absolutely amazing!

Vegan fish and chips takeaway in central Newtown. A plant based version of the classic Aussie takeaway, the food at Bliss n Chips doesn't disappoint.
There are plenty of deep fried favourites and burgers available. The house made Bliss fish is a highlight of the menu. The selection is so large that it's almost hard to choose and in my experience it can occasionally slow down the kitchen or create confusion among the staff. While the range is impressive, it's a very large menu that could do with some refining.
The prices are high but this is somewhat to be expected considering almost every menu item is specialised. It would be great to see some more affordable options on the menu at some point though. If you're after a late breakfast, don't overlook the Bliss bacon and egg sanga.
Don't miss some of the tastiest vegan food in town, Bliss n Chips is a regular favourite for me.

Simple yet scrumptious vegan food, with a huge variety of options - most sinfully appetizing. With absolutely reasonable prices and a warm welcoming service, this place is definitely up for recommendations.

Amazingly realistic vegan meat and fish options. We had calimari rings (photo) and a prawn wrap. We are not vegans but would eat these alternatives with no worries. Atmosphere was friendly and there was a wide variety of treats including vegan ice cream. Only marked as 4 stars because neither plate was garnished at all, although im aware the place is more of a fast food joint. Would recommend, will probably be back. :)
