Good & tasty food that's reasonably priced (depending on what you order) waiting staff are kind and courteous, no real 5 star dishes though, and drinks are a bit pricey for the portion size.

My wife and I came here on the last morning of our stay in the city. The barista was helpful and looked very busy but still greeted us and let us know we had a QR code on the table to sign in. She proceeded to make 2 of the BEST lactose free coffees we have had for a long time (we are coffee snobs) and it was the perfect mix of coffee and milk. I had the Guac on Toast and my wife had the I just can't decide. I loved the pumpkin and kale chips which went very well with the poached eggs, avo and toast. My wife felt that her meal was just perfect for someone who couldn't decide if they wanted baked goods, or muesli or a hot brekky. Thank you so much for your amazing coffee and perfect food to end the stay in the city.

Its a Sydney cafe. Has all the usuals.
There is more toast than eggs with the scrambled option. Perhaps they are using small instead if jumbo eggs, and if they did this would move to 4 stars.
To get 5 stars they would need to lower their prices for when they have a special, as it does not apply to sit down service.

Tastee sandwiches and coffee. Good salad options.

Underwood Lane Cafe stands head & shoulders above any other cafe in the CBD that I experienced during my visit to the harbour city. The chef himself came over and took our order which is almost unheard of. I opted for the Egg & Bacon Panino burger which was superb. Overall youโd do well to make Underwood Lane your go to when next in Rome

Good cafe next to my work. The sourdough with peanut butter and ham with a latte is awesome.
Very friendly staff, but can be very busy in the takeaway section in the morning. So I do tend to go other places as Iโm in a hurry at times.

Stopped into this quant cafe for a filling breakfast before climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I opted for the Aรงai bowl, topped with โgranolaโ, seasonal fruits and a side of peanut butter (because yum!). The smoothie part itself was quite nice, the fruit fresh and the peanut butter delicious of course. The โgranolaโ was in fact more of a muesli which I believe had oats in it (not always suitable for coeliacs). As it read on the menu that the dish was in fact gluten free, not even gluten free optional, I did not expect to come home from my bridge climb to crippling stomach pains which resulted in my rolling up into a ball on the couch of our hotel room accommodation and having to try sleep it off before we went to dinner. Very disappointing and would not recommend to strict gluten free diets due to unreliability.
My partner had the big breakfast.

First time checking out this cafe for a coffee hit and was pleasantly surprised how nice the coffee was. Cappuccino ($4.50) using The Wood Roaster coffee was a bit on the pricey side but had lots of froth and a decent strength of pleasant bold flavour til the end of the cup. I'm hoping a takeaway would be cheaper to compete with the usual $3.50 price mark around the CBD. Plenty of seating inside and some outside. Service was generally friendly and provided a glass of water promptly when dining in. Not quite sure about the industrial looking ceiling as an exposed feature but each to their own. The Bacon & Egg with a large coffee for $9 might have to be my next visit.

This cafe is right across from our hotel so we decided to have breakfast here this morning. The service was really friendly and I loved how fast our beverages and food came out! The coffee was perfect and I could not fault it. The omelette was delicious and tasted so good with mushroom, spinach and chorizo. The big breakfast was in fact really big and had a mixture of everything. My partner loved it and said everything was terrific. The menu had plenty of options and there was a specials board outside too. The prices were good and you get value for your money as the portions are big. Would recommend this cafe and would return.
