Lovely staff. Great food! I especially enjoyed the curry puff (the pastry was so fluffy!), papaya salad and egg fried rice that I had with panang curry. Yum!
Just unfortunate that there were quite a few fruit flies around.

Went to try this Thai today... very unimpressed... asked for a meal to be spicy as that meal normally comes spicy anyway and had to take it back to the kitchen because there was no spice in it whatsoever... even when they gave it back wasn't spicy and nor was there any flavour... my husbands dish was horrible no taste no spice no anything I can cook that meal that he got better at home with more flavour blindfolded.. if you want bland no taste food go here.. I wouldn't recommend this dump where the people who are cooking are not cooks. They should start investing in real cooks from Thailand who know thai flavour, not bums off the street who aren't even thai.

Had an amazing time at Tin Thai, It truly has a neighbourly feeling to it once you walk in and the people are extremely welcoming service. <br/>Right, down to the good stuff 😋 <br/>I was after a crispy and peanutty starter to kick off the meal so I had to try the Golden tofu, which was deep fried and served with an amazingly nutty sweet peanut sauce. I thought I had made a great decision to start my meal off. <br/>My two main dishes were, Sizzling seafood - mixed seafood stir fried with tasty sauce and the best vegetables serve on hot plate and Peanut sauce stir fried chicken - stir fried mixed vegetables with tasty peanut sauce. It was a bit of a nutty night. The stand out of the two was of course the seafood hot plate. Stunning blend of flavours that all came together as one. I frequent here as the local Thai place. I often order order simple meals such as the stir-fried noodles, fried rice or rice dishes. Haven't tried their curries and other dishes. Regardless, they have enjoyable food with generous portions. I also like that they include a lot of vegetables in the noodles. Tom yum fried rice is great and beware that their chilli basil noodles is quite spicy. They have cheap $8.90 deals for lunch which is great as well. Moreover, service is friendly and efficient, though obviously if it's very busy, you might have to wait a bit.

I really enjoyed this humble feed of fried rice with tofu. I loved the abundance of vegetables in this dish and that fried taste running through the dish. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this dish. <br/><br/>I tried their entree of veg spring roles that were made in house and simply delish.

Always great service and really tasty food. <br/><br/>I have tried a few dishes from here and they have all been really delicious. The service is also really quick so its great for a quick lunch. Reasonably priced too.<br/><br/>Worth a try

Ordered takeaway from Tin Thai. <br/>One thing I noticed is the portion size! In<br/>My take away box is a huge piece of pumpkin in my massamam lamb shank curry. Impressed! Too bad the lamb was a bit over cooked and the curry was light in taste. <br/>The green curry was ok but the chicken was tasteless. Mixed entree was standard <br/>Can't comment on the ambience but prices were what I expected. It's just ok

Tin Thai is a new suburban Thai (duh) restaurant which recently opened on Kingsgrove road, fairly close to the train station. It does home delivery and takeaway, but also has a few tables for sit in dining. The staff are polite and quick and the decor neat and tidy. A decent place to sit down and enjoy some Thai food.Crispy chicken wings - $7.00 - Seven bucks for six or so wings/mini drumsticks is a bargain. Though they are simply cooked with a light soy marinade and deep fried, this entree will surely get your tastebuds going. Served with a side of sweet chili sauce.
