Really good cafe! Good atmosphere, dog friendly, open long hours, has a nifty outdoor area and even has a collection of aquatic fish in a tank!
Portion sizes are pretty large. I always want to order more than one thing because everything is so delicious, but fill up just on one thing. I'd really recommend their risottos and burgers in particular.
But beware they have a surcharge if you pay by EFTPOS and your order is under $10

This was my favourite cafe in Glebe for many years but since the older couple who ran this cafe retired, things have gone down hill rapidly under the younger owners.
Birds fly in from outside and perch on tables that have not been cleaned or even wiped down.
Whilst the coffee is still quite nice and the service is pleasant, the food leaves a lot to be desired and is often than not, served cold especially any meal that has chips. Twice in as many weeks the chips alongside my meals have been cold and hard. Burger buns which used to be of the brioche quality, are now the cheaper doughy variety.
This cafe also needs a thorough cleaning before I will go back.

Dog friendly cafe! Outdoor area, huge sized meals, great service. We even celebrated our doggy birthday here lol. Was a lot of fun. Great to see a dog friendly cafe in Glebe. Have been going to this cafe now for years. Also, great coffee!

We are regulars but haven't been there for 13 weeks due to personal issues. There was only 2 people in the place when we arrived but there was a dirty uncleared table next to us. Our table was dirty & needed a clean. My pasta cabonara was heated up via microwave so the cream & oil had seperated.
My partner ordered a fave which was the seafood pie. The pastry was overcooked to the point u could say it was burnt.
The service was the worst we've experienced in the 6-7 years we have frequented this place. New owners?

Good coffee good prices needs some work, in & out door seating. Trying hard adree with food cold. Service slow. Still needs work birds are a kroblem . Advice clean up quickly & the birds wont help them self. Cafe is improving. Coffee good food needs improving.. April 2019 this place is rarely ipen kike once was. Getting hardwr to find a coffee after 5pm this is far frim a 24 hour city. Brisbane & Melbourne offer street cafes out door seating Sydney does not seem to bother.

Amazing Cafe, my friends and I have been eating breakfast here whenever we are in Sydney and it has never disappointed. Awesome chairs, great music, DELICIOUS smoothies and all the meals are excellent

Food is over priced for very poor quality. We waited over an hour for our meals which were all brought out separatly with a long time between each. I definitely will not be eating there again.

In an earlier review I wrote that this place needed a serious clean by professional cleaners. While I haven't been back for lunch I have noticed from passing by that the windows have been cleaned and the place looks better.

BRILLIANT ALL THE WAY. The food in this restaurant is superb. Large servings at very reasonable prices. The food is very tasty and fresh. Try their slow cooked lamb risotto- it's amazing. Service is very friendly and helpful and the food arrives without you waiting too long.A nice outlook as well.This was my second visit.I will be back.It has become my favourite eating place in Glebe.

Never again!. Horrible. I've never been so disgusted with such poor service. My group of 4 had lunch during the Glebe st festival and we sat down & was asked straight away what we wanted. Bit too eager but that was fine. Then 15 minutes after we placed our order and enjoying our conversation, we were asked to move tables..... really? We had already settled and drinks on the table. Not impressed. The food came, it was ok, no seasoning but it was ok. <br/>After our meals & waiting for a friend to come back from the restroom, the waitress passes a bottle of water right infront of face. I saw it coming and I even said "don't" but they did it anyway. Your waitresses need to learn some customer service. Not to mention the people in the kitchen! during our meals, all we could hear were angry yelling from the kitchen. Not impressed, and would never go back. Terrible.

The Big Breakfast is very tasty and a generous size. Amazing value, especially as coffee is included in the price! Every time I've been there the service has been extremely fast - coffee within 2-5 minutes and breakfast arrives in 5-10 mins.

AMAZING. We have been eating there for a few years now. We love a good meal out and they NEVER disappoint! Amazing breakfasts as well as dinners, Great prices - brilliant display - Brilliant service. All round awesome place. Nice intimate setting. One of The chefs specialise in Fish - So their seafood options are fantastic. In saying that, One of the best steaks in SYD. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered the Omelette with chorizo and OJ with ginger+mint. Both were really tasty and scrumptious! Service is great. Comfy chairs. Will make the effort to eat breakie there everytime I visit Sydney! :)

Delicious breakfasts. This place is fantastic! Gorgeous fresh food and plenty of it! Great service and very reasonable prices. I had the buttermilk pancakes which were so light and fluffy served with lots of fresh fruit, presentation was lovely, the taste was even better.

Fundies. Sunday brunches at Fundies are a tradition for us! The decor leaves a lot to be desired but the food is wonderful and the servings are so generous. I order the omelette with pumpkin, semi dried tomato, spinach and fetta every week despite a pretty extensive menu awaiting me, but I have had the good fortune of sampling my friends' meals ;) the french toast and pancakes are divine!!! But I just can't not order my omelette!

Fantastic!. I am a local and regular customer (2 times a week). <br/>I've had the majority of meals on the menu apart from risottos as I don't like them. <br/><br/>Every meal has been cooked fast, comes out hot and fresh, and tastes delicious. I have never been disappointed whatsoever. <br/>Don't be put off by the lack of customers, or overcrowded chairs/tables atmosphere. Sit outside if you can as it's quite lovely. <br/>Staff are friendly.

Great value for money and fantastic tasting food. Try the burgers, salt and pepper squid and the lamb shank. Fish and chips for 10 / 12 bucks is also great<br/>Value for money. Love it here and been loads of times. Highly recommend.

Such amazing food! We go every Thursday without fail for dinner as its our local. Try the burgers, the bugs, sizzling fish platter all great. Don't be put off by the bad lighting and comfy chairs. The food and friendly service far outweighs these negatives! A good all rounder, cheap to!
