Friendly service and great atmosphere! We couldn’t fault the pho nor the roast pork banh mi but the cardinal sin of any Vietnamese restaurant is serving prepared fresh spring rolls - as soon as I picked it up, I could tell that the outer casing has already started to dry and firm up, otherwise a very enjoyable dining experience

Understated sort of place with a good selection of Vietnamese dishes. Staff were very accommodating with meal variations and the food was quite good too. Portions were above average in size and there was a good selection of condiments to add to the meal.

Good food , maybe less Japanese mayo in the banh mi for me next time .would be happier if they used glasses for the Viet coffee than plastic and were not eating when serving customers..

flavour wise everything was great and fitout-wise the place looks and feels great..... but the reason I’ll be coming daily is coz for the first time at a Viet joint ever I finally managed to add AVO to my salad
big fan of this joint already ✅

Yum. Great portion sizes, and pricing and so close to the station. Bahn xeo could have been crispy buy small thing.

Looks appealing but just didn't taste right. Didn't smell or feel very clean. A bit pricey for what you get.

This is a very new restaurant, upon first impressions it looked cool and clean. Having dined there, I'd have to say that the food is pretty average. The Beef Pho lacked flavour and hardly had any meat in it. A wedge of lemon was thrown into the bowl which I had to fish out to squeeze (leaving my fingers wet and oily), instead of being presented on a plate with mints.. there weren't any mints supplied either. The chicken in the tomato rice dish was oily and the rice didn't taste quite right. There's no drinks menu. Service was friendly enough. Hope the food improves with time once they settle in.

Cozy place, friendly staff. Their Crackling pork vermicelli salad and Banh xeo are the best in Sydney.

Bistro Saigon is a very nice casual restaurant with a wide range of trendy Vietnamese food, so I had the somewhat uncommon banh xeo. It was a little soggy and broken and could have done with more flavour (like more mushrooms) but it was still good and a big pile of food - not as good as at Banh Xeo Bar in Rosebery but 40% cheaper! Other menu items seem slightly more expensive than most Vietnamese places though. Very busy at lunchtime but opening hours are pretty long (opens at 10:30), so plenty of opportunity to go.
