Review Fratelli Fresh - Sydney

Josh Brown
Came here the other night for dinner with a friend. Excellent and friendly service in a big restaurant, one of the few places open on Sunday night. We had a pappardelle pasta and a chicken salad. The salad was good but the pasta serving could have been a bigger portion. Overall it was a good experience and would happily visit again in the future

I stopped into Fratelli Fresh for some lunch while shopping in Westfield Sydney. It was also Happy Hour at that time and they were offering specials on certain cocktails and foods. We chose a selection of little servings of chips, stuffed zucchini flower, olives, bruschetta, arancini and calamari. Everything was lovely and the staff were very attentive and friendly.

Service was absolutely horrible here! I have never had worse service! The only reason why I put two stars was because of happy hour deals and the drinks tasted alright. Basically three issues with service: firstly it took forever for someone to come take our order, we looked around for staff but no one was available for us. Secondly, we ordered food and drinks BUT OUR FOOD NEVER CAME AFTER AN HOUR. We had to ask the waiter to check our food and turns out for some reason the kitchen never received our order after they put it in the system. They provided no explanation of what had happened and no complementaries as an apology. We were drinking so we weren’t very upset about the wait, and the food did come out in seconds after they realised their mistake. Thirdly they made a mistake with the pricing of our order, since it was happy hour and they charged our pizza full price. We had to wait even longer to get our payment fixed and it just added more fuel to the fire. Would not come again despite the good deals they have; let alone to dine here on a normal day

lined up to get in, short wait time. all staff were kind and friendly, and service was fast. food was tasty and fresh, but a bit it expensive (understandable as they are located in the CBD). would love to come back and see a larger pasta menu with more variety, we were craving a good carbonara or a similar cheesy/creamy based pasta dish. we still loved our meals though. we ordered the pappardelle bolognese and the rigatoni lamb ragu + 2 cokes, totalling $80.84.

Great team lunch. Good pizzas and delicious deep fried zucchini flowers. Friendly service.

Only 1 week out of lockdown and so difficult to get in anywhere to dine. Lucked upon this great relaxing venue, where we received wonderful efficient service 😊 The Sydney Rock Oysters were delicious, as was the Prawn pizza we ordered. To top in off the Banoff Pie & Gelato was the best I've had! Thnxyou guys 🙏

Truly happy happy hours! The food and drinks are good, the service great too. They even accommodated us once when the kitchen was about to get closed. Lovely staff!

Some dishes were delicious. Others were bland. It was very hot and miss. For the prices on the menu I would expect consistency across the board. Nice environment though, and the service staff were very friendly and helpful

Rating: 3.5/5

Had the Beef pappardelle and my boyfriend had a ham and olive pizza. The food was cooked quite well and the pasta was really flavoursome especially the pulled beef cheek. So yummy! Was overall a very comforting meal and it was a nice surprise to see that they had a 50% off promotion on Mondays. It came to an average of about $15 a main. A downside is that I’m not sure if the food would be worth the full price on another day of the week as the service was quite slow at the beginning. The staff must’ve forgotten about our table altogether as one of the two waitresses was standing near a wall unoccupied when we tried to get her attention after waiting for quite some time. Another thing to note was that when we paid with credit card there was no heads up about a card surcharge from the staff. When you go to tap your card on the machine it reads the amount before the surcharge and it is not only until after tapping your card that the machine add a surcharge and automatically charge you for that as well. A bit misleading. The surcharge was small so it was not much of an issue but a heads up or a visible sign would’ve been nice. We would’ve been happier to have paid with cash if we had known. Overall not a bad experience but nothing super special either. Good for a casual meal with friends I think!

Went there with friends. The place is clean and comfortable, staffs are very nice and helpful. I tried the antipasti and I really like it. Highly recommend!!

Over priced and over rated. The service was non-existent and the food was average. $35 for an unseasoned pasta is ridiculous. Would not recommend.

Happy hour 3-6pm Monday-Friday. 10/10 for price, 10/10 for Taste, 9/10 for service, 9/10 f0r choice. Get on it!

Really good pizza bases and their cabonara wasnt too overpowering and creamy but still packed a punch in flavour.
Love that there is a Fratelli Fresh next door to work as I have always loved their pizzas. Their crust is consistently good and not too much topping! #pizzaporn #pizzeria

Staff is very inexperience, slow customer service, spend with my partner for Valentine's day and I don't appreciate the exceptional customer that i would get in the restaurant. I will give 0 for customer service, 0 staff inexperience and 0 slow paced for food. Would definitely not recommend booking here because of the slow service that they provide and if i want to come back here they will need to improve their service and make customer happy leaving with a smile = exceptional customer satisfaction!!

We went there to celebrate the lunar new year and the try was not bad! The fish and lamb tastes good, and are easy to be shared. I like the signature dessert! recommend to try!

I was impressed with the variety of pastas and pizzas at this food court restaurant. We ordered the crab pasta (tomato sauce base) which was light and fresh. Overall great taste and portion size was big.

This is an okay Italian restaurant located inside Westfield Sydney. The fettuccini with seafood was average. The pizzas were nice though especially the prosciutto di parma and the bresaola & burrata one’s. For dessert the baked ricotta cheesecake was really really good and it was my highlight of the meal. The service was great and I would highly recommend this place for large groups.

$5 on happy hours, Monday to Friday, 3-6pm that sounds like a good deal to me.
5 items to choose from, starting with margarita or diavola, beer, espresso martini, Negroni, and house wine.
It’s to good to be true, with $10 you can have pizza and drink.
Today I choose Negroni and Diavola,
Negroni, which Iconic Italian cocktail, and I assumed come from tap, perfectly to drink before dinner. This apéritif, garnished with slice of orange and served on old fashion glass.
Diavola also delish, spicy ( hot ) salami, olives and roasted capsicum with a good Napoli sauce and just enough cheese was perfect for me.
Based was thin, and tasty, a good combination.
For dessert, which is separate from the deal, I choose their signature Banoffee Torta, their signature dish.
For $15, this dessert is just a bit let down, the base of the banoffee rather hard to break, but the good thing is sweetness caramel is counter react with whipped cream and fresh banana.

Food is okay. We were there because we were looking for a pizza place and this was conveniently located where we met up with friends. We were also lucky when we got there it was still happy hour. They only had 2 choices of beer though. The staff who took our order was a bit rude.. She definitely made us felt that we werent welcomed. She looked like she wasnt so happy working there. That made our experience really terrible. She wouldnt respond to our "Thank you's" whenever we requested for something. She wouldnt talk to us properly and felt like we didnt deserve her time. No smiles, whatsoever.

Came here for the Liven promo and it was definitely the right choice. Arrived around 1:45pm-2pm so they weren’t very busy and we had super attentive service. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the food was equally satisfying. Although they were clean and simple dishes, both the Margherita pizza and the prawn Linguine pasta was packed full of flavour and punch. Definitely recommend !

Disappointing experience, staff are the biggest issue here.
Out order was wrong they brought 3 different dishes to us, then the bill was incorrect also

Impossible to get there attention frequently gossiping behind the bar. The food is ok just standard really much better options and service out there won't be back.

Full marks to Fratelli Fresh for baking some of the tastiest and healthiest pizzas in town. I judge a pizza by its thickness (or lack of ie how thin and crispy the base is). What’s best is that there is so many Fratelli Fresh outlets in the CBD there’s sure to be one not too far from you.
Jwswong
Chain Italian food restaurant which seem to be popping up everywhere. Had a peach bellini here, which surprisingly I didn't like. Fratelli Fresh do good italian though.
Teresa
Really good Italian food! Large good looking pizzas and pasta and salad options as well. Very good gelato (highly recommend the coffee gelato).
Alana Keith
So embarrassed that I chose to have dinner here with a friend tonight. Food was expensive, tasteless, and you have to look for service too.
Prawn pasta was dry and tasted like breadcrumbs. Brusschetta was plain toast with unripe tomatoes. Given the wrong gelato flavour after repeating 3 times what flavour I chose. Such a shame because the place looks lovely when you walk in. Don't waste your money here. Much better Italian around.
Chewie
I had the roasted fire chicken pizza for lunch and it was pretty subpar. The thin crust is nice and chewy with a slight char giving it a smoky flavour; however, the toppings were lacklustre and sparse. It all had one flavour dimension - that being salty and bland which was unenjoyable.
Tanmay Parekh
The staff was very helpful and courteous in suggesting the right ingredients for the pizza. We ordered three large pizza and were left craving for more. The bread and pizza is baked on the spot and taste is delicious which makes it perfect to have it there or takeaway.

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and I ordered the lamb salad, a drink and a cheesecake. The salad was pretty average, there wasn't much meat to go with the amount of leaves and the dressing was sparse. The cheesecake was great however and the drink was reasonably priced and quite good.

Might be back to try their antipasto boards but definitely don't recommend their salad!
Eunifoodie
I came here for the $20pp unlimited antipasti board and it was prettyyyy damn worth it. The board came with olives, three varieties of meats, (sadly) a bit of cheese, bruschetta and focaccia. Would come again to try the rest of the menu!

Great atmosphere, location ! Takes time to get all the way up to fratelli but it’s worth it ! The margarita pizza was cooked perfect with everything a good pizza should have, however not too flavours weren’t poping.

Domino’s would be way better. Waiting for 20mins for this So called Meatball Pizza. Joke. Don’t bother coming, expensive. Totally not worth the time or money

Just have a very bad experience for the one at Sydney Westfield. Terrible service with expensive overrated quality food. We have been serve with a bowl of rockets with a splash of spices and minimal lobster (shown on photo with its initial status), but it just looks like a bowl of $2 rocket salad which you can buy it from Coles. We ask is this is what we were plated for $30, the waiter just take the dish off and never came back to us for any explanation or follow up our order after the dish been sent back. What a joke!! We then been seated for almost an hour with no service at all, none of the waiters have check us up until we go to the front for bill.
SWilson
Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food - arancini tasted burnt, and were not nice and golden brown as expected. Chilli linguine was very dry, and we paid $7 for 5 tiny prawns on top. Meatball pizza was very salty, soggy in the middle and underside was black - very unappetising. We ran out of water at the table and needed more due to the over salting of the food, water wasn’t replenished so we said “excuse me” to get the waiter’s attention, but the she told us to wait a sec while she disappeared behind the counter for a while. Finally got some more water, but couldn’t finish the pizza.

On top of all this, we were slapped with a 15% surcharge for it being a public holiday, although we didn’t see any signs at the entrance nor at the counter informing their customers of this. We must’ve missed it on the menu, although the ones on Zomato state only a 10% surcharge, and the waiter had conveniently thrown out our receipt. $85 for 3 disappointing dishes - definitely not recommended!
The Weekend Foodie
Went after high recommendations from work friends. Caught up with a friend here and the service was pretty good. We went on a Wednesday evening for dinner. I ordered their bolognese (I really wanted the lasagne but it wasn't on the menu) and my friend ordered their linguine with bread crumbs, oil and chilli I believe. She said hers was alright. It looked pretty bland to be honest (her dish) but she is vegan and that was the only pasta dish she was able to have.

My bolognese arrived, huge serving. Papadelle was cooked nicely but it was realllllly thick so quite chewy. Topped with mince and NO SAUCE. I couldn't finish the dish, it was so dry. I think I will come back, but only to try the pizza or lasagne

Giving my experience 2 because I really didn't enjoy my meal.
Tae Kim
Possibly one of the worst Italian experiences to date. Ordered the Spaghetti alla carbonara. Very very salty. Without exaggeration felt like i had eaten pure salt and dough. Microwaveable carbonara from Woolworths was better than this dish. And it cost 20 dollars for the salty plate. Wouldn't be surprised if I developed cholesterol problems after that dish.

-Service was bad. So many tables and not enough staff. This was lunch time service.
-food was bad. Tasteless. We had pasta, pizza and mac and cheese. So we had a variety and all were below expectation.
-over.priced.
-Glorified Crinitis
The Miniature Life
I came here for a quick dinner after work because I was craving some pizza. We opted to dine in and order the mushroom bruschetta and a eggplant (vegetarian) pizza. It took over 10 minutes for waitstaff to come forward and take us into the restaurant. They must have misunderstood something and gave it to us in takeaway boxes, so that was a little annoying. The bruschetta was nice, but nothing spectacular. The pizza crust was really thick and the rest of the pizza was a little bland with scant toppings. The center of the pizza was a little soggy too. The service was a bit disappointing considering how long it took for the order to arrive, and the fact we had to ask twice for some table water and cutlery on the table. The food was good, and I wouldn't mind going back for fresh pizza (particularly from their take-away front) but the service didn't impress me at all.
Red Bean
Ordered 2 pizzas and a kiddy meal. Magherita was soggy, wet and cold. Too wet (I don’t mean oozing with cheese, it was watery wet from the late addition of mozzarella) to eat/finish. Diavola was lovely. Kiddy meatball dish with pasta was okay, nice that it’s a mix of meats. Service was lovely, warm and friendly. Downside? Put on the spot to leave a tip when we paid by eftpos. Is this a trend now? It’s not okay.
Sweetlikesugar
Not sure re the non-positive views, perhaps we visited when less busy. Service was lovely, quick. Food was delicious. Started with the prosciutto, melon and buffalo mozzarella. Followed by lasagne and Margherita pizza. Both were of a great standard, pizza very authentic like you would find in Italy. If you are after pizzas with 8 different toppings, then a suggest you go somewhere else such as dominos (yuk), these are only proper pizzas here.
Birdman
I thought for a restaurant in a shopping complex it was very good and I don't think it's rating does it justice. To start we had the prosciutto with melon and buff mozzarella which all had great quality ingredients. For main I had the Margherita pizza which is done exactly how they do them in Italy, couple good ingredients and nice and soupy consistency. Also got to try the lasagne which was bloody good too. A very good reasonably priced and relaxed meal.
The Wolf Of Eat Street
Sorely disappointing experience…
-
The Lowdown: Starving, so hungry, we had heard of this wicked place called Fratelli Fresh. It was wicked, wickedly disappointing.

There was 4 of us, they got 3 of the 4 orders wrong. The restaurant was near empty (4 other tables occupied) and the juice took 45 minutes to get from order to table… don’t even start me on the food! LAWWWWWD GIVE ME STRENGTH!!

I ordered the Baked Eggs in Sugo, and splurged out by adding bacon for an extra few dollars - the portion size was no bigger than a snack and the bacon was COLD!!

Another ordered the Avocado Crostini (Pancetta, Tomato, Ricotta) Sourdough - they forgot to add the Pancetta to the dish, we had to ask for it…

The other one ordered was Eggs Benedict Bruschetta… yehhh you guessed it, COLD EGGS!

As you can tell, this was an exceptionally disappointing experience; I don’t understand the fact that the restaurant was not very busy, yet the food comes out cold?!?!

I really hope that this experience was an outlier!
-
Pro Tip: We spent over $100 for cold food that took forever to get to our table. I’d recommend finding somewhere else for breakfast...
-
Weapon of Choice: 🍴
-
Cost: Too much for cold food and a long wait!

30 mins between courses at lunchtime and no apologies or compensation by the staff today and they were. Place was not even at full capacity how can a salad or pasta take so long to make?
Tran Julie
This restaurant is nice and has pretty decor and fancy interior. The customer service here was friendly and fun to chat with. The menu is a bit pricey and the pizzas were a bit disappointing because it was super flat and had a thin base. The pizza toppings were good and had all sorts of combinations available.
We went in a group of 9 and ordered 6 pizzas, believing it would be enough, but unfortunately the pizzas were a bit smaller than expected. We just left after eating quickly since the waiting time was pretty long despite getting seated quickly and the food all being served at once. We practically demolished all pizzas under 5 minutes (hence lack of photos) and didn't want to stay any longer.

Also we didn't know that we got charged $9.50 for each jug of water till we got our bill, sadly we got 4 jugs. Apparently they said we agreed to get served "still" water so we were a bit shocked from that.
We probably won't be back as a large group, possibly a smaller group :P
DigitalFoodi
Nice venue. Food is okay not amazing. Major issue with this place is they are extremely slow from the time of order till food arrives. The staff response of " sorry our chiefs are slow tonight I can't do anything about it ". Also not getting orders right topped it off. For the price you pay management should take action. Such a pity so much potential too many flaws. Do not go.

Don't be fooled by the seeming lack of seats on the outside, the restaurant is actually quite big complete with a bar! Walked past a few times and actually had no idea it was so spacious :P Anyway, we were so glad this place is open until quite late on a Wednesday night, one of the few places open inside Westfield!

We got the Arancini (8 balls) and the Fennel Sausage pizza. Both were very tasty, the pizza base was chewy and thin - how I like it. I'd also tried the Prosciutto pizza via. my coworker's MealPal order which was really nice as well.

Overall, food was great, the atmosphere was great - perfect for most occasions and the waitresses were friendly and approachable.

Brunonono...
For a three course meal at $40...not bad Fratelli not bad at all, if you can eat a full pizza by yourself and you wanna keep the corporate look...this is your place!

I'm not sure if it's the $40 set menu is good value or if Fratelli just charges a lot of dine in pizza and pasta...honestly I not sure...

Bruschetta and Zucchini Flowers yeap nothing of fault just straight forward honesty.

Duck Ragu, yeah not the best pasta...average restaurant quality! The Prawn Pizza though very interesting and with just a bit of extra chilli oil or Tabasco...beautiful!

Banoffee Pie...absolutely sinful and once a year yes we can agree that it's okay! If you like decadence...this is for you.

Fratelli Fresh and their takeaway joint Fratelli Famous are a godsend for me on some nights in the city. They are one of the only places open for dinner in the Westfield Pitt St food court. If I have events on at the State Theatre I can grab a cheap pizza and a drink in a fantastic venue. The pizzas are delicious and somewhat simplistic in flavours but so moorish you will want more than you order. I have taken friends, business meeting people and also kids to the venue. It's a true all-rounder venue. It's large, it's licensed and you can eat here without busting the bank. The black truffle, egg and fontina pizza is my favourite and makes me salivate every time I order it.
The kids love the place and I love getting a sneaky beer. Also, while I order mainly pizzas on every visit it should be known it is not just a pizza place, it's a fully fledged Italian joint so lots of pastas to choose from also.
It's worth a visit if you want a no fuss and decent diner style Italian venue.

Came here for a quick dinner yesterday before a movie date. We were quickly seated near the area where we could see the making of the food. We ordered the lasanga, calamari fritti and tartufo pizza. The pizza was really nice and my friend thought it was unique to put eggs on pizza. The calamari and lasanga were all really good too. The service here is very quick and wonderful. I highly recommend this place and would come back again.

This place is an embarrassment. An insult to the Fratelli name.

I've had better Italian from a McCains microwave meal.

I'd go on but the food here is not worth my effort. Save your reputation before this franchise ruins it.

Ciao.

Heard good things about it but is a little disappointed. I ordered the Bellini and the cheese board to start off with. the drink was below average and the cheese board was quite ordinary. Ordered the 4 cheese pizza and thought it was a little too greasy. Friend's mushroom risotto looks awesome though, will need to order something else if I ever go back to FF.
Kristina
Unbelievably surprised by this joint! After a (long) day of shopping, my boyfriend & I decided to try out this consistently busy restaurant at the back of the main food court of Pitt Street Westfield. We were seated promptly (to our surprise, thought we would have to wait!) and we were seated by the window, usually reserved for groups of 4! We both ordered an entree, two pastas, and two Negroni cocktails, all fresh, hot (except the cocktails) & full of flavour! Would definitely return upon another day of shopping 😁
DRJ
I had dinner here with two others on a Saturday night around 7pm. We were seated straight away without a booking. Dinner was quite average for 2 of us. Between us we ordered the scallop risotto, lobster spaghetti and a spaghetti all a carbonara. Serving size was quite large however I'd rather they put into their flavours.
I wouldn't recommend it. I think one of the stalls in the food court does pasta also. You couldn't do any worse if you went there.
Bigeaterintown
Came here on Australia Day and the lunch was yummy. Waiters were well dressed and can speak Italian which makes this restaurant very authentic. Better vibes than its Alexandria outlet.
Shubham Kedia
This place is located a few steps away from the food court and provides amazing Italian food. We started with baked potatoes and bruschetta which were lovely. Then each of us ordered the mains - Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli, Quattro Formaggi Pizza and Tartufo Pizza. Each and every dish was brilliantly made, we went into food coma instantly. Then we called for desserts, staff was very friendly and suggested us to have the house favourite Banoffee Tart and Tiramisu. I could just come back for the desserts so don't miss out on them!

There has been a recent change in FF's menu. They have taken out my beloved prawn pasta with red sauce and replaced it with other dishes. I have got to say, I am not impressed with the latest menu. I have been to FF three times since the menu change, once eating the new prawn pasta dish with olive oil, second time trying the steak with potatoes and the orange duck pasta dish and I can't say that I want to go back for a fourth trip.

I was really excited to eat at Fratelli Fresh today, as I have been to two other outlets..... but unfortunately my partner and I were just frankly disappointed. We ordered two cokes, focaccia, spinach and ricotta ravioli & the mushroom gnocchi.

The coke was in a tumbler glass, plus ice therefore hardly any coke in the glass. Followed by the focaccia which was fine except the waitress took the olive oil and balsamic away with out asking, so we just ate bread. After a while the mains came out the gnocchi was good but the sauce was average and my partners pasta was underdone and cold and the sauce Luke warm....

Due to the experience the cost was too expensive over 80 dollars! Not worth it. I will not be coming back to this outlet!
Follow @2Foodiefrogs on Instagram

A very popular Italian chain in Sydney with a number of locations. With a focus on speedy service and authentic Italian flavours at affordable prices, its no wonder they have over 8 locations around town so far. We tried the newly opened Fratelli Fresh in Westfield Shopping Centre on Market Street.

It was surprisingly quite large with plenty of seating options. The service was fantastic, they were very accommodating and didn’t keep us waiting. We had the Ragu alla Bolognese and the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. The Ragu was delicious nice and juicy and the flavour was delicious. The Carbonara, unfortunately, could have used a bit more sauce as it was slightly dry. The little sauce that was available was however quite flavoursome but felt bland at times.

Decided on this place for dinner to catch up with a friend as it is convenient and not too expensive (i.e.

Both us, and the table next to us had to ask for plates! Plates! Like, seriously. Staff couldn't care less. Food is average at best, no real flavour punch, bland.

No menus on the table. You have to look on the giant board then order from your table. The pasta was fresh but not very tasty. It was ok but not that keen to return.

I generally have a Gould experience when dining at Fratelli Fresh and today was no different. This location which took over Thomas Dux space is spacious and the staff were very friendly. As it was a Friday lunch the place was buzzing and this made conversation difficult as we had to yell at each other to hear.

We shared their tomato salad as well as their bottle of rose. I ordered their special of duck pappardelle pasta which had a nice kick of spice which I enjoyed. The pasta itself was more a linguine then the wide shape pappardelle in used to but it was tasty and generous in size that I couldn't finish it! My friend had the mushroom risotto which she loved and scraped the plate clean.

We were both full but couldn't say no to desert. We both went for their tiramisu but found it rich and a bit too much after the heavy meal. We could have easily shared one!

I will definitely be back!

Fratelli Fresh is now open in Sydney Westfield and with the warmer weather, I check out their new spring menu. Italian is always a popular choice. What a glorious weekend it is so MW and I cheers to a glass of the Fratelli Fresh Pinot Nero (also known as pinot noir). It's a fruity and lighter red wine. I had no idea Fratelli Fresh did their own wine. What a great way to start off the weekend and the must order dish is the

Move over cold winter air! Spring is taking over, coming at us with it’s warm embrace, brightening our days with blooming flowers and spoiling us with produce at their peak. And if you thought that was the best thing about this time of year, you couldn’t be more wrong. This season brings us the chance to indulge in Fratelli Fresh’s Spring menu. At their latest location within Westfield Sydney, Fratelli Fresh brings along a piece of itself to the heart of the city. Now it’s easier to enjoy some authentic fine Italian food even on your lunch break!

I was pleasently surprised to see another Fratelli Fresh outlet opening in Westfield Sydney. It was the perfect place to catch up with a friend over a leisurely lunch. The restaurant has a takeaway section facing the food court with pizzas at $14. Inside is the restaurant which has a classic French brasserie feel & is roomy, buzzy, filled with office workers, friends & even moms with kids! The menu has a delicious selection of starters, salumi, pastas & pizzas. As it was a workday lunch, we only had time for one course unfortunately. Complimentary pizza dough bread with herb butter was warm & yeasty & a lovely thought. The pastas all sound delectable & neighbouring plates looked delicious & generous. On this occasion the Lobster paccheri tempted me & did not disappoint. Large tubes of pasta, chunks of sweet lobster meat, a sweet tomato sauce with a kick of chilli & good hit of garlic. All perfect with a glass of vino. You must get the banoffee pie for dessert, it is still the best one I have had. It has the perfect ratio of biscuit base, gooey caramel & cream & banana, not overly sweet but indulgent nonethe less. Friendly & efficient service round out the experience.
Sir And Mlady Dine Out
Fratelli Fresh should not require any introductions and if it does, well, we regret to say that you have been missing out on some fine Italian food for quite some time now. Fratelli Fresh has come a long way since their Flagship store was operating in Danks St all those years ago. They now have restaurants all over Sydney and even Melbourne.

Dined here with my boyfriend for a late lunch. We opted for the Parma - White base pizza with Parma ham, cheese, rocket and Parmesan. Very tasty toppings on a great, traditional style pizza base. Also tried the grilled chicken salad - which was super fresh and delicious. Crisp salad leaves, flavourful chicken pieces, sliced almonds and a sweet dressing (complimented the salad ingredients perfectly.) A great new addition to Westfield Sydney's dining scene.
Hungry Panda
HUNGRY SUMMARY - come here if you wanna create your own tasty pizza. Would recommend if you're willing to pay a bit more for a more holistic pizza experience (i.e. from the prep to your mouth)

FOOD - we created our own pizza - with many choices for base sauce, toppings, meats and dressings. If you are unsure about what to choose - go for all of them! (It's basically all-you-can-pick ingredients for your pizza). The pizza was well cooked and melted in my mouth

PRICE - $14; might seem high but this is good pizza and you get to pick whatever you want on it

SERVICE - efficient and quick (although we went early so it was relatively empty)

I went with a group of 8. Some of those that ordered pasta said it was too dry. In particular the meatballs and the ragu with penne. The latter decided to ask for olive oil to improve its viscosity, yikes. I on the other hand ordered the lamb pizza, and it was great! Although the lamb chunks were sparse, the lamb and rosemary flavour was infused in every bite, great base and cheese as well.

If you decide to eat here just order pizza.
Lucianna Guo
Food taste boring.. Chicken salad cost 18 dollars. Minimum leaves and about 8 slices of chicken. Not worth the money at all. But I have to say the gelato was good. Recommend tiramisu.
The Happy Tummy
So new places have been popping up in Westfield Pitt Street Mall lately. One of the is Fratelli offering traditional Italian cuisines like pizza and pasta. I went for Diavola, a red based pizza topped with spicy salami and roasted peppers. Loved its smokey flavour but would prefer a thinner crust. Lamb ragu was great and would fill you up. Lasagne was divine. You can taste its flavour from the aroma alone.

I gotta say though, prawn spaghetti needs more kick and the risotto was a bit runny.

Plus factor: you can split the bill! How great was that?
