The station is recently renovated. It’s clean and spacious. There are toilets available once you enter the ticketed section but gets very busy at times. The platforms could still be improved in terms of experience and ventilation.

I've spent the past decade traveling through Wynyard station and personally witnessed the ongoing transformation of the station from a time capsule into a modern transport hub with lots of business opportunities to offer.
Every now and then when I set foot in the station I can sense a live example of an ever evolving Sydney.

Wynard Station is a brilliant transport hub I often get off at.
It's very simple in its layout and you have that top underground tunnel to get to Barangaroo.
Love their work and great staff too!

A real asset to the city. Love being able to walk from the water at Barangaroo directly to George St. Nice shops and clean, wide walkways along the way. Buses, trains, ferries and light rail all connect here which is so convenient

One of the busiest stations on the Sydney network, Wynyard has recently been redeveloped from its 1970s look and feel into a modern and spacious transport interchange. While this doesn’t help with disruptions to train services it is much more appealing visually and offers links to Barangaroo via Wynyard Tunnel.

Good transport hub but I wouldn’t recommend it to tourists. Crazy busy and packed, difficult navigation and nothing special in design. For these who interested in historical underground Sydney better go to St James or Museum stations. Nice recent addition is a tunnel to Darling Harbor / Barangooroo - a really convenient way to get to nice bars and restaurants

Well connected train station in the middle of Sydney close to many fabulous hotels. Wynyard links in with many of the major sydney rail lines, plus just outside is the bus station as well. Station is multi-leveled but there are normally people around to help.

Busy and complicated to get around if you are not familiar with the structure and set up of the station.
Its best to ask the staff which are flat out anyway. Salman the Sydney Train employee was very helpful and helped me with where I wanted to go.
I suggest ST put more staff on the ground to help passengers.
