Great quality sushi train in the CBD. The staff is friendly and very nice. Most sushi plates are $3.80 while today’s specials are at $5 and sashimi is $9 with free miso soup. The ingredients are fresh and their sushi are great for value.

I had the mixed combo box, and it's good.
However, I would say that the sushi shop inside the town hall station is better. No offence. 😉

Great place to try sushi. They got sushi train for dine in. Affordable and lots of variety to choose from. Very accessible, near town hall station. A must try sushi place.

Not the best sushi I have had, I ate a few of the sushi rolls. The sweet and spicy chicken is basically chicken in syrup.
The salmon was flavourless and not great.
Tuna was the same.
The person at the counter was nice enough though and this was a quick bite to eat. Convenient location too.

The sushi was fairly good and the service quick. However, it was quite costly. The system for figuring out how much things cost is flawed. They have 5 coloured plates and each is supposed to have a certain cost, however some of the plates did not correlate and I ate a small plate of prawns which was one of the “premium dishes” and cost $12. No way I would have picked that had it been clearly displayed. I ended up spending $31 on 5 varieties and I ended up eating when I got home as I was barely full. More of a novelty than anything, wouldn’t go here unless you are just planning on having a small bite or have cash to blow.

Incredibly dry sushi at 6pm without any discount and overpriced too. Very poor customer service. Too few vegan options.
"Soy chicken" description is confusing. It's not soy-based chicken but soy sauce chicken.

The staff is very friendly. The food choices are pretty good. They had most plates on the sushi train at $3.80, except sashimi for $7.50 and special plates at $4.50. I really liked the atmosphere here.
Note this review was prompted by an offer for a free soft drink for a review on google. But I was genuinely pleased by the food choices and staff service.

Soy chicken sushi and Sweet chili chicken sushi taste so good. A great place to get some sushi for a take away. Services are friendly and effective.

Arrived here in the late afternoon and saw they had a 2 for $6 special. The sushi still looked quite fresh to me so picked up a couple of Chicken Katsu Rolls and a couple of Tofu Rolls. Service was swift and friendly. The sushi was tasty and hit the spot.

If you’re like me and enjoy snacking while you push around a cart of groceries (its right outside the Coles entrance on the lower level of the square), you’ll appreciate the after work closing time discounts. Standard procedure: 3 sushi rolls for $6, or a 2 pack of Takoyaki for $5. Yes of course I swooped both of those bargains up. It’s always slightly different everyday depending on what was popular that day. On this visit, two types of chicken (katsu cucumber and terriyaki) and and a cram uramaki (inside out).

Stopping by and finally get to this fresh sashimi! The soy sauce was really really good and the sushi roll is very delicious. Worth the price!

I came just now for late lunch, just before 2.30 pm.

Place:
580 George street, food court level, facing George street.

Service:
Plenty of room for improvement.
Service can be 10x better than what o experienced it today.

Food & Drink:
All sushi’s, from rotating conveyers belt.
I guess I came on the wrong time, because all sushi that I’ve tried today, were sitting there for sometimes.
How do I know, because all garnishes were soggy, and takoyaki were cold 🥶.
I guess chef made just before lunch time and what ever left over it’s on conveyers belt.
I should ordered fresh items directly from kitchen next time.
