A great classic Western Chinese takeaway tucked away around the corner from Meadowbank station. It’s on the hill and easy to miss if you’re not looking for it.
Best Western Chinese food. Great portion sizes and tender, juicy food. The flavours are great and the service is even better!!! So warm and welcoming!
Dishes pictured (some have been attacked already, sorry): pineapple fried rice, Singapore noodles, Mongolian Lamb, honey prawns (the BEST) and tofu and veggies. LATER UPDATE: Beef in black bean sauce on fried rice (lunch special) and Honey King Prawns. 👌
Also highly recommend the pork ribs in Peking sauce, salt and pepper deep fried tofu and satay chicken stir fry.

3.8 - 20 Minute wait for order and Pick up on a Friday night. Not bad. Like the others mentioned, lady didn't warmly smile but I see that she was action-focused and just wanted to provide service. The Salt & Pepper Squid tasted piping hot and delicious but I did notice that there was more batter than it was the actual Squid. Good quantity though! The Combination Chow Mein missed the mark because it just doesn't mix together when you make it at home (it needs to be cooked together but I understand they made it that way so it doesn't get soggy). The tofu and vegetables were pretty good.

$13 lunch specials (cash - $14 with card). Beef with black bean sauce and Chicken and vegetables.
Typical Australian Chinese takeaway - more on the sweeter side. Fried rice was lukewarm and pretty bland. Sauce was meh, wasn’t really black bean sauce and pretty salty.

Best Chinese in Ryde area.
Great authentic taste, nice portions. A test of great Chinese is how it tastes on the 2nd day … like a fine red wine it gets better.
Thanks to the chef.
The 90s decor is part of the suburban Chinese restaurant charm.
Dishes tried - Honey chicken, beef and black bean, pork ribs & Peking sauce, chicken sweet corn soup, fried rice (this was the only dish not to my taste)

I have been ordering food from this restaurant for more than 7 years. Their chicken chowmein soft noodle and imperial chicken is the best. Rice items are below average. Otherwise, everything is good. Also, they provide a decent portion size. Recently, they started using thin noodles for chowmein which was disappointing. It's not a great place for fine dining. Mostly, people prefer takeaways. It's a small gem in meadow bank.

Been coming here for years and have not had a bad meal yet. Always my go to when we want Chinese food. The kids love the boneless lemon and honey chicken. And I can't go past the schezwan chicken. Still my all time favorites.

Foods all fresh cooked. Xichuan beef lunch special is the best for those want some spicy foods.

Great little place for either takeaway, delivered or eat in Chinese, after our old regular chinese restaurant at Top Ryde changed owners, then closed... and another chinese place in near the shops over in West Ryde closed as well, one of two good chinese places I know of locally

I have been going here for 20 years. Great food and reasonable prices. Wait for takeaway is rarely longer than 10 minutes. My favourite Chinese restaurant.

Advertised they would be open however they were closed. Reading other reviews they seem unorganised. I suspect that a disorganised restaurant is likely to have inferior food however I will never know as I will never go...

Love that it's a stone's throw-away from my place. Love ordering take-away. Best tasting salt and pepper squid this side of town. Also love ordering their fried rice, garlic king prawns & steamed dumplings. Came late for a pick-up one time - ordered salt and pepper squid - they cooked me a fresh batch! Now, if that's not good customer service, I don't know what is. Reasonably priced food, too.

Terrible!!! Ordered good and address was confirmed 3 times. Driver called to say there was no parks and to come down. Currently 6 months pregnant and had to wait in the cold for 10mins, no driver in sight. Called and said please refund me, was then asked to come in and get a refund in the shop!! Never again.

I had spring rolls and Mongolian beef tonight which were really nice but the Lemon Chicken was UNEATABLE. I don't even think it was chicken looked like fish mashed with flour paste. Their special fried rice was ok.
Prices are good
Disappointed 21/04/14

Mongolian Lamb. One of the best mongolian lamb in Sydney. Definitely a must try! Dine in might not be the best place, but for take away it's excellent.
