Really enjoyed my KBBQ experience here! So many yummy options, meat was of good quality, and the service was friendly and they helped us when we needed it!

BAD SERVICE!!!! Staffs are extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. The servers showed attitude at very beginning. We are the first group coming, so there is nothing to be angry or need to behaved badly like that. It is also really hard to ask for something like side dishes, grill changing, or sauce. Because all we can receive are stares, eye rolls, rude facial expressions. We tried to be nice, but they were so unbelievable. It is so disappointed when I introduced this place to my co-workers. ‘Amazing’😑😑😑 There is nothing can call ‘hospitality’. It is a shame for this place. No doubt when they shut their Strathfield branch. With this kind of service, I wonder why they are still opening. Don’t blame on Covid recovery. Because it is your service, you have to be aware of it. I don’t recommend this place. Vote down 100%. Thanks

Great spot for Korean food, both à la carte and shared options like BBQ and hot pot.
I was surprised how attentive staff were and they were nice. Food came out quickly, was very filling, and wasn't too expensive.

A 2 star experience at best. Food was in poor proportions for price and the food was very expensive to begin with. Service was lacking, the employees kept turning our grills off when our meat was still cooking, almost spilt a dish on us and got our order wrong. I would not recommend this place if you want a good KBBQ experience.

Zero ventilation. No windows nor smoke ventilation pipes. We had a big group over multiple tables and the staff were incredibly rude. Refusing to serve us and throwing an attitude of every question we had yelling at us. Food did not come after multiple asks and they ended up giving it to another table without any apology. Incredibly disappointing experience.

The place advertised to open at 5pm. Walked past 3 times and the doors were not opened until 5.17pm. When we went in the waiter rudely ordered to sit down next to the counter for "5 minutes". 15 minutes later we were escorted to our table. Never have I been to a restaurant that did not honour their opening time nor staff feeling obliged to attend to the customer - never!! There was even another couple waiting before us and they casually strolled around getting ready. The phone calls were also ignored as it kept ringing without anyone answering. Somehow I think the manager is on holidays and the staff could not care less.
The Spicy Seafood Tofu Hotpot was average at best and contained 2 small prawns, and a few pippis and a cube of squid with an abundance of tofu to fill the space. The Hot Stone Bowl Bimbimbap was lacking in size and condiments but tasted ok.
This use to be called The Bugolgi and infact is still owned by the same company. It appears the poor service run through this entire company if you read through the reviews of the Chatswood branch. The only redeeming feature is the quality of the dishes at the Chatswood branch. Sadly, I could not say the same about this branch! Would not recommend to anyone!

Definitely one of the best Korean BBQ in CBD.
Good price, big portion, tasty side dishes can never go wrong!
Highly recommend.

Named after the popular Korean grilled meat, Bulgogi Korean BBQ Restaurant now has three outlets in Sydney – Strathfield, Chatswood and Sydney CBD. We were regular customers to its suburban stores and were excited to finally set food in its Liverpool Street branch. . Surprisingly the trademark exhaust fans were nowhere to be seen, even though barbecue remained one of the highlights of the menu. Throughout the meal, we didn’t particularly notice the fumes and were only too engrossed in devouring the moist and tender grilled meat.

Great Korean restaurant. Nice selection of sides - they had a marinated raw beef one which was pretty chewy but really flavourful. Ordered the Seoul Hotpot, Tteobokki, Japchae
Hotpot beef was super tender and well marinated, but the portion was tiny for $50 - very less vegetables and mushrooms
Tteobokki was super soft and pretty good
Japchae noodles were grey compared to your usually brown ones, overall the dish was done well
The dishes here are pricier but the place is an upscale Korean restaurant so come to treat yourself as the service helps you cook the meat as well

A plus is that they have $10 soju

Good food. Cheap. Great service. Staff cooks food for you. Even if they look scary and silent, he is good at his job haha 👍 wagyu is very fatty. Cooked to perfection. Traditional yet good ambience. The staff are very attentive. Will come and help immediately when they see you are struggling. 🥰

We bought a voucher from Groupon. It was a nice decent korean bbq place. We like the beef, quite soft if you cook it medium. Pork was also good. Highlight if the day would be the japchae, so flavorful and full of textures. Would definitely come back for the japchae. Overall, lots of food offered with the voucher. I think even three people can be full with the meal.

The BBQ service was very good. The restaurant is also opened late and offered a nice variety of quality dishes. The staff were very friendly.

It wasn’t really crowded when I came. The soup bulgogi was tasty and happy with the portion with plenty of beef. The jap chae was delicious. Service was abit slow but still ok.

Today was my first time trying out the spicy cold noodles/bibim naengmyeon from The Bulgogi. I have been craving for this dish after seeing my boyfriend had it last week. The noodles were clumpy this time and I was kinda disappointed about it. Hopefully the noodles will be cooked to perfection when I order it next time. However, the side dishes were really good! I love the mayonnaise seaweed salad and japchae noodles! And my boyfriend did enjoy the pork belly. I am already thinking of coming back here for their japchae noodles!

Ordered the yukke (raw beef salad), neng myun (cold noodles), jokbal (herbal pork trotters) and fried chicken.

All tasted good, especially the cold noodles! Perfect for the summer.

The yukke was not bad but was better at the strathfield branch though.

Nice ambience, staffs are nice. Foods are good but a bit pricy. Kimchi pancake looks good but taste too sour. Free 30 minutes karaoke, but mostly korean song.

The food here is so good. With the karaoke establishment just after you dine. Amazing experience to eat here. A wonderful night truly it is.

The Bulgogi is a Korean restaurant specialising in Korean charcoal BBQ and dining. Having already established stores in Chatswood and Strathfield, they recently opened in the city and we checked it out for dinner one night, keen to have a meaty feast. To start, we ordered the Yukke with thinly sliced fresh raw wagyu beef, sliced pear and cucumber and egg yolk. I am a huge fan of Yukke and this did not disappoint, the beef was so fresh and the crunchy pear and cucumber added good texture.

Visited the new Bulgogi Restaurant on Liverpool Street in the city, the third of the group. I've visited the Chatswood one twice before so I am a bit familiar with their menu. There's a good variety to choose from and our group ordered a dish each to share. I like that we could have sushi, fried chicken, BBQ meat as well as hot pot all in the same place as some of us are quite fussy! The restaurant is spacious and takes bookings. They also own the karaoke upstairs and you can order food into your own room while doing some singing in privacy, a great idea for hanging out with friends on a Friday night!

Come on Barbie, let's go party. Who's ready for some Karoake fun with a side drinks and Korean/Japanese food? I check out The Nolza recently along with Matt and a few other singing friends. We got a room straight away thanks to Qtix - an app which allows you to digitally queue up. . FYI - Above the Bulgogi in the Sydney CBD on liverpool st, The Nolza is a new karaoke bar and if you dine at the Bulgogi then you get free karaoke for 30 minutes (for a limited amount of time). Woo Hoo!
