We attend a local business meeting at Flame Cafe every fortnight. The space is perfect - well ventilated with plenty of space and natural light. Great food and coffee. Very friendly service. Highly recommend.

Lovely place for a quick bite, takeaway or lunch. Staff were warm and friendly. The menu had a great selection of Indonesian options or the usual suspects you’d expect to find on a breakfast menu. We had the crispy chicken (served with rice, spinach and drizzled with rendang sauce), and the mee goreng with chicken. Portions were sizeable and food was great 👍🏼. Definitely coming by Flame again if we are in the area.

Flame Cafe is an oasis of calm and deliciousness. The coffee is smooth and the food is fresh, tasty and varied with a wide range of breakfast offerings and lunch including the amazing nasi goreng. My son said that the muffins and hamburger are the best he has ever tasted and I have to agree! Jessica, Francis and the staff are so friendly and happy to customise orders for picky eaters. The outdoor seating is lovely on a sunny day. Highly recommended!!

Was exploring the Cox's road shops for the first time and was attracted to the shop from the outside. Further intrigued by the menu which is a blend of Indonesian dishes and classic Aussie brunch. The owners appeared to be Indo so thought I would try the Nasi goreng and the indo fried chicken. Was very satisfied with both dishes. What a pleasant surprise to find this cafe for lunch. Will definitely be back if I feel some simple classic indo food.

Went in for a tasty brekky. Saw the in house freshly baked muffins on the counter. The blackberry and cottage cheese one called my name. It was warmed up and with a satisfying cup of tea set my day off to a great start.

I’m a bit conflicted in writing this review. While the food was undoubtedly good in terms of taste, when I was eating the fried chicken it was cold/frozen on the inside. It wasn’t raw though which indicated to me that they are precooking and freezing their chicken to deep fry when people order. When I pointed out to staff that my chicken was still cold inside they just microwaved it instead of making me a new one!
If the chicken was fresh and cooked properly this would probably have been a 5 star review

Excellent service with an interesting menu. Some Asian fusion items. Our coffee was good and so was the food!

Menu above are outdated, i think they had revamped the menu, into something more modern and delicious. There are Indonesian/Balinese cuisine available and some are a fusion of indo western food and it works great. Their coffee are amazing and the muffins are to die for ( Home made ). It has a nice local cafe vibe with outdoor seating available and staffs here are super friendly, definitely a 5 star cafe

Local cafe with a real local vibe.
The cafe is quite spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. And there is even a gift store too.

The food is good, nothing wow. And at reasonable prices.

Decided to give this cafe a try, since it was locally close. Went with mum. Actually quite a spacious cafe, wih lots of room, for a nice Saturday morning. Note that the above menu is outdated. Service was normal, what you'd expect from any cafe.

Ordered the big brekky for $17.5, and mum ordered the egg benny for $15.5. The servings were big definitely, though the quality could be improved a bit (a bit too oily for my liking on some of the foods). Cappuccino was average, nothing outstanding. Good place for a nice chat on a Sat morning however.
